Like, I feel dirty just watching the cutscenes but when I play the game it's like jerking off to ridiculous crap except the game is doing the jerking for me and I'm just sitting there spamming the stupid dodge button

I think I was able to get over the exploitative nature of the game simply because it's so celebratory in its madness. The game is just having so much fun you can't help but get caught into it. It doesn't hurt to have another version of one of my favorite songs ever in it

At that part after Shinji dies/enters into a coma, and Mitsuru sends Aigis to get Ken and bring him downstairs only to find he escaped out the window, I got a mental image of him jumping out of the second story and coptering down with his spear like he does in his critical attack. "Wheee!"

Ahaha what an adorable image Even if his social link did freak me out a little, Ken's hard not to love. Aw I miss playing P3P. I really should carry on with my NG+ playthrough but it's just so dull being able to 1 hit KO the majority of enemies & i'm too much of a wimp to bother trying to fight the "ultimate boss" so

Also i've had so many people recommend Bayonetta to me, I really need to get round to picking it up. I have no objection to the shameless fanservice if the gameplay is great.

Bayonetta really is one of those shining examples of those games where everything else is so interesting in comparison to the protagonist as a character(-slash-cardboard-cutout-from-a-porno-mag). I think less than ten minutes into the game and people are breakdancing on motorcycles, and it's pretty clear that the sole purpose of Bayonetta's existence is to combat ridiculous shit using more ridiculous shit and look like fun doing it.

Also I've tried doing some of the challenges and they are fucking nuts, I've accomplished perhaps 2 out of a bazillion and gotten close to completing a third one.

@Force: If you were asking about Peace Walker, well... it certainly is a very substantial game for the PSP, and I fully expected Kojima to make it so. Keeping in mind the handheld's limitations, there are several loading screens for each individual mission/set piece but for me they were short enough to be tolerated. The only thing iffy I considered about that is that every cutscene leading onto a boss battle gives a "To be continued in the next mission" loading screen which is odd, but in retrospect it isn't too big a deal in the grand scheme of things.
And, well, the art is fantastic, the sound and music is still cool, the gameplay is still Metal Gear and Kojima is a good recruitable for the Intel Team for Mother Base. His body is made of 70% movies and what you do with the rest is up to you. Or something. He's an absolute troll.

It certainly isn't disappointing me right now. Overpriced, but then again every game in an Australian store is.

Battlefield Bad Company 2, spent quite some hours / rounds online already, . It's fun, although obviously not very optimized for PC. Having some sort of RPG system in an FPS is an instant win for me, really ties you to the game. And being a fun game helps too.

It's a bit of a shame you unlock all the vehicle addons so quickly though, and/or that there aren't more of them.

I love this game so much, I played the shit out of the beta. I wish my pc could run it.

I finally got all the Recon unlocks and was so proud of myself ;.;

Multiplayer is where it's at. Not sure which class I love most, other than Assault, which I don't care for all that much. XD Teams of Medics are annoying as shit, and the silenced SMGs + RPGs of the Engineer are pretty damn sweet.

Dunno if I'm ready to shell out $15 for the Vietnam add-on yet, tho :'

I just love how layers and layers of centuries long conspiracies, plots, and carefully laid plans by the antagonists are all overridden by 'Get Fei'. Watching the normally implacable Gazel and the normally omnipotent Gebler/Solaris shoot themselves in the foot and messing up their own plans trying to whack this guy is golden.

I'm really glad Xenogears is coming on the PSN, its plot, setting, and the sheer amount of information and details is objectively bigger and beefer than the entire FFVII Compilation put together. There's just so much of it.

I'm actually amazed that the (unrelated but spiritual successor) Xenosaga series actually beat Xenogears in the sheer amount of plot information it has; I'm pretty sure the in game database/encyclopedia of Xenosaga III has more text than the Bible.
