i was looking for a better explaination in my fuckyeahpbmarceline community and then i found that the Mixolydian Mode PB mentions in that episode is a type of greek poetry that was invented by sappho

The long and short of the story is: the Federator blog posted some video the was essentially a recap or newbie guide to AT that at one point encouraged the Marcy/PB pairing and I think even had people call in their support for the couple. Now it's not clear who exactly is the culprit (CN denies everything obv) but the video was taken down and in it's place was an apology from the OP saying they had gotten carried away by fan speculation. And now apparently he's lost his job.

Shit sucks.

edgier things have been said (something about fionna having a nice rack, shit AT itself has edgier and more sexual content than that) and they've talked about shipping before more than once

there really wasn't a problem here, adam muto just decided to be a dick and fire the guy presumably as damage control.

so yeah this really had nothing to do with the fandom (the fandom has always pushed AT to pump out fanservice, esp. Fionna and Cake), it had to do with adam muto being afraid of jesus loving homophobic soccer moms. it wasn't like he was trying to make this whole thing look stupidly homophobic, but he was facing potential backlash from the whole thing and he took the easy way out.

W-was today's episode WAY more terrifying than it seems like it should have been to anyone else? Deer breaks Finn's legs, Deer has hands and licks all the candy people, gets cinderblocks to the skull and then drowned, and didn't get and 'sugar' from PB.
