What was the last game you finished?

I just finished Transistor. It's an excellent game. It does exactly what I expect from indie titles, which is, as I've said before, to do one thing and do it really well. I had a lot of fun playing around with program combinations and using them with Turn(). The difficulty level was spot on for most of the game, and it can be manually increased for extra XP. It's about ten hours long, which is a good length. And it looks and sounds great. Colour me impressed.

Transistor was spectacular. I was just thinking about that game today, and contemplating about replaying it again at some point. I love that people are still going through it.

Prince of Persia (2008). AKA a 20-hour quicktime event. It was fun in parts but it all felt a bit too scripted, like I just had to press buttons at the right time to make progress. The combat wasn't like that, but it had problems of its own, not least that it was impossible to die. By far the best part of the game was the chemistry and sexual tension between the Prince and Elika. Their lines were excellently written and delivered.

The game generally looked and sounded great. It got quite repetitive, however, and the ending left me feeling disappointed, so I don't think I'll be playing it again. Both the 1989 original and the Sands of Time are more enjoyable games.

Yeah, that's what I thought; they did a reboot of the series after the SoT trilogy for fuck knows why. They tried again a few years later with err, fuck if I know, which was another reboot but closer to the original SoT series, but it was still lacking. Probably a solid game, but I didn't really play it all the way through, it felt kinda fabricated.

A bit disappointed about how repetitive it is but the gameplay mechanics are still incredibly fun.

Fallout 4 with about 60% achievements unlocked. Going through another playthrough to finish off the rest of them before I get the new dlc.

I finished Grim Fandango Remastered with my best friend last week. It took us about four sessions in total; one for each chapter/year of the game.

I posted about it here when we started and said how much I was enjoying it. By the end, however, I wasn't feeling so positive about it any more. The first two chapters are brilliant, but the last two seemed to drag. We had to look up the solutions to a few puzzles because we would never have figured them out otherwise - and I say that as someone who has been playing puzzle games for almost my whole life. The remaster could have done with a hint system or something.

Literally just finished Saints Row: Gat out of Hell. It was very short. Kind of funny in spots, but nothing new here. Doubt I will ever play it again.

Mad Max on PS4. Was fun, but did get a bit repetitive toward the end. Speaking of the ending, kind of an anticlimax.

Human, being
The Resident Evil remake. The best of the more survival horror focused RE games that I've played. Also Firewatch, a surprisingly rich game given its minor length.

^ I didn't play Firewatch, but I watched a lets play on youtoob. If they make a film of it, Louis Ck should play Henry. And Catherine Keener should play Delilah.

Arkham Origins, the game where they finally figured out how to make good bossfights. I hear Arkham Knight doesn't do this either, shame. Its a weakness of Asylum and City.

Did everything except
Enigma, because screw that, and Black Mask, because the game glitched and he escaped me by the ingenious method of locking the door

Tru, but that also means you can finish it in one sitting, which IMO does add to the experience. In its case, I mean, I wouldn't like much more games to do it like that.
