While I don't mind Puppyshipping, I never really saw why fangirls were so appealed to it. I mean, those two really hate each other, and I think Seto would feel a little more than just disgusted if he were to encounter all those Puppyshipping doujinshis. After reading the movie summary, the duel sounds very disappointing. I wanted to see some epic new combos by combining cards from the three heroes. Like Jaden using his Flute of Summoning Kuriboh to call Kuriboh to Yugi's hand, teamwork like that. Not a single round where they each do nothing more but summon their signature cards, then Yusei wins.

A big let-down.

Yusei doesn't win, they all win. Yusei hardly carried the duel on his entire shoulders, and he wouldn't have been able to attack for game, had the other duelists not combined the attack of all their monsters to smash Paradox in the face. The duel is short but its sweet as well, seeing as how each character carries their weight and makes significant gains in terms bringing them to victory in a duel against time.

I mean hell, Yugi dealt first blood and was able to steal back Stardust Dragon for Yusei, Judai smashed two Sin monsters in one go, and Yusei was able to give them all a way to get their ace monsters to their hand ASAP. That just screams team work.

I saw/have the first Yu-Gi-Oh movie on DVD somewhere but don't think I've watched it since it was in theatres. Even then, I've always been more into the actual playing than the anime, but that movie was fun.

If Paradox isn't torturing them like Yami Malik's little mind games, then it can't be as violent. And yes, it's not nearly as crazy or psychotic, ergo, Yami Malik still remains as victor concerning bat shit crazy duelists. I'm loving the Black Magician + Black Magician Girl scenes though, and it's almost nostalgic to see all of Atem's/Yugi's cards played again. It's like a crossover - an old anime you watched as a child being mixed with a show you watch now. I'd really like to see this movie now, but not in shitty English subs.

Also, the lack of Jaden amuses me.
