Even considering Zack factor, I think she was a bit too bold with Cloud. And I certainly don't consider it as a "progression" of her character. Though I think that if you take FFVII alone, this is what makes it interesting, that Tifa and Aerith act so differently towards Cloud.

Re: Love Triangle Discussion Their interaction was indeed weird in that scene: Aerith was trying to make him promise to come back and Cloud looked like he was willing to say anything just to run away as fast as possible.

Re: Love Triangle Discussion I also got the impression from that scene, that he promised Aerith to come back so she would just leave him alone. And in the end he didn't come back. Always avoided speaking it in LTDs before, because could be easly claimed as Aerith's basher.

That's what I thought too and Tsviets played their roles of one-game villains quite well. If you take SHB as example, weren't they too quite cliche of a villains? I remember that Nojima even said something on them being typical trio of antagonists from Japanese anime/manga culture...

And we wouldn't end up waiting for years for releases.

Yeah, I didn't like that larger splash too. Perhaps it could look a bit better if it was a black or dark grey paint. I like Seph's face on that pic... He doesn't really look like himself though, but still fine to me.

I thought Aerith was OOC in CC, but it was CC that made me really appreciate her character. FFVII Aerith was a bit too flirty and pushy kind of girl for my tastes. Exclusively by Cleriths. edit; QFT.
