Doesn't anyone think Cloud is just smiling in general? He's surrounded by his friends and the closest thing you could call a family, and survived a pretty horrible attack... he might just be happy in general. I never even considered that his smile was "for" anyone in particular. And likewise...

I agree. I like where Square was going with it, but I think they went too far with the accent. I've grown to like it a bit more, but the first time I heard his voice I wanted to shut the video off. :lol: His voice isn't too bad in AC/C... but in DOC it's worse.

Those cosplay pics are awesome! I think the statement that she's in a half-living state is probably closest to accurate. Plus, don't forget her statement when you first meet her in FF7: "The Jenova in me won't allow me to die so easily." So, she is capable of dying, but it's not so simple...

Giygas is up there in terms of freakiest/craziest final boss. Another I could think of was Deathevan from Breath of Fire 2. Even after you beat him, the cave he lives in has to be blocked off, because he will eventually re-awaken. And what about Lavos?

And also, Nibleheim is remote enough where if something goes wrong -- and boy did things go totally wrong there -- it can go fairly undetected, and could be contained/controlled by ShinRa quickly. If they'd done experimenting with Jenova in Midgar, there's too much risk of getting too many...

But if there were ferries all over, why would you need an ocean-crossing Chocobo? :lol: All these plot-holes with FF7 world travel. I guess they're going to re-redo the movie, and next we're going to see an ACC Complete. :P
