This was a series I grew up on around the same time FF was big. I can't wait to see it again.

Old death had more oomph to it because it was messed up and unglamorous. The new one is so hollywood it basically subverts the gritty reality of what they tried to do with Aerith's death before.

Why not. It's fun to see people stirred up over what they're passionate for. Aerith philosophically represents the loss of those we love, etc. Then you've got Tifa. I wonder if that woman has problems sometimes, her endless devotion to Cloud looks almost unhealthy. It's also believable, though.

I'd like some messed up/silly plays that closely parallel things happening in the story, sometimes in dark or humorous ways. Especially if it made Cloud think a little or shown a visual cue. Did the play in FF7 have any narrative significance? I can't recall much about it.

I would watch an actual LTD documentary video with high production values. I'd probably laugh at it if I wasn't kind of numb to laughter. But you know, I'd enjoy it anyway.
