So I stayed up very late tonight and finished Assassin's Creed II. I've been playing it nonstop the last couple days because it got really good.

I'm very tired so I'll probably say more later, but that ending was a tip and a half. I realized

Minerva was talking to Desmond long before she said his name. Interesting that she somehow knew that Desmond would use the Animus to look back on Ezio's life.

I was like, "HOLY FLIP ASDFJLK!" Up until that point I had been completely uninterested in all the modern day stuff.

But Desmond? Eh, he's still a poor man's Nathan Drake

I see what you did there.

You can say a lot of things about Desmond but he does deliver some pretty funny comments that the player was probably thinking about saying too.

New Assassin's Creed with a new character and new setting coming next year or thereabouts.

Been playing Brotherhood.

Very disappointed in no Leonardo yet. His bromance with Ezio was beautiful.

I put in all that work to build it up in ACII and they just destroy it then modernize it in Brotherhood?

But I am liking that all the modern stuff is slowly becoming relevant. I seriously did not care about any of that or Desmond (outside of Nolan North) until the very very end of ACII.

I saw an article with what appeared to be a leaked poster on Kotaku yesterday. Guess they're just coming out and confirming earlier than planned

I have to say...I didn't play 3, (actually ok, the only one I played the whole way through was 2), but the looks of this kind of intrigue me...

Although to be honest, I'm starting to feel a bit tired with AC.

I don't really think that yearly instalments are a good thing for a game series. =/

I think Revelation was the first hint of that.

I felt tired with AC after every single one, but then the crazy awesome trailer for the next one would completely erase it. But Revelation was the last one to do that - with arguably the best trailer of the bunch.

Yeah the trailer for Revelations was amazing, it had Ezio and Altair and then the game turned out to be crap, trailers always lie.
