Oh, guess not - I'll have to look up guides and shit to check out all the shit I've missed. Or just try and play through the levels from the start; now that I know most the shit, it should be relatively quick. I've already
went and googled about on how to kill the Wet Nurse, and they suggested shit like Bolt Paper and poison throwing knives. Cue me googling to figure out how to be able to buy that shit. Backtracked to kill Darkbeast Paarl (the lightning dude) (didn't manage to kill him in that bit where you're abducted to the Hypogean Gaol, and it's easy to miss if you're awesome enough to not get rekt or if you don't go to that area), then down some secret area which I'd never find on my own beacause there's an Amygdala lasering up the place to find a key, then up another optional area off the Cathedral to the Upper Cathedral Ward. So much secret areas it's not even funny.) Anyway hope I can get some swag to kill the Wet Nurse. Although with a bit more luck and effort I'm sure I could rek it on my own.

Aight yeah, I pwnt her with relative ease; I may be OP by now though. I basically used my f4v0r1t3 s0rd, Ludwig's giant blade (seriously I've used that exclusively ever since I got it beacause it does massive damage and is fast enough), dodged her attack, countered, then, #rekt.

Did a load more shit tonight, instead of trying to beat that Wet Nurse wossname.

So first off, strolled through the Cathedral Ward and was like "was it always this quiet?". It's definitely brighter than it was, probably due to blood moons and shit. Found some altar on one side of the cathedral that takes you down to Old Yharnam, but haven't figured out yet what it'd do - if anything.

Then I went to the other cathedral thing and pwnt the Crow, took me two or three attempts. Been strutting about in that outfit ever since. The weapons isn't my thing, I'm invested in the (predictable) str/skl build.

After that I went to look for farming Blood Wossnames to buy the gear, turns out there's two Moon (?) runes that I never found, so went to look for them. The one was down a stairs in a boss area where I never even noticed there was a downward stairs. The other one was at an area (big room with little people and big holes) where I somehow never noticed the elevator. I did find and pull the lever to make the monster drop down there though.

Then I went on to that area with the actual lever; the first attempts I tried to get there I died a lot, and in the last room with the brain thing on the other side of the chasm, I just gave up and forgot about it. Backtracked there again, this time killing the wossname on the other side with poison throwing knives, then going around and finding the Blood Rock or whatever it was, making my Ludwig a +10 weapon, w00p.

Then went to try and kill Mergo's Wet Nurse again, buuuut about as successful as previous times. Got it down to 1/3rd or so in the first attempt by simply spamming attacks, but that hardly ever works and I'm not OP enough yet. Now I need to go farm Blood Vials again, myeh. Do have a good location for that though, Witch's Abode, then go outside, one-shot three of them Executioner fellows and you've got... anywhere between 3 and 12 of the things, plus 10-15K Echoes.

Wew lad yaaay finally rekt the Wet Nurse. It's kinda... anticlimatic if you pick the wrong (or right?) option back at the Huntard's Dream. Good thing I looked up spoilers first, it wouldn't be the first time I picked the lamest ending.

But regardless, the last non-optional boss should've been a lot more epic IMO. Previous boss fights were. The first one even was, I'd say. A bit more story about what you're doing up there would help, too, and a more epic 'well you did it, woo' cutscene.

Anyway, stubborn fuck as I am I didn't choose to die so fite with wossname is on now. I should go and find the third third umbilical (hhhehe) and get the 'full' ending.

Really don't like bad/okayish/canon endings.

Oh wow, I continue to find shit be told by the internets that there is still shit to be found. TIL you can actually
turn around at the very first lamp at Iosefka's Clinic :monster:. found was told to find a not that hidden path in the Forbidden Woods (I didn't like that area btw, no clear routes) that eventually leads to a ladder that goes all the way back up to the Clinic.

Off course I've only gotten there after all the key events so there was just Iosefka err, volunteering me the third third umbillical, but still.

Oh and there was a package / invitation. Which unlocks a wholly new area which I didn't even think was accessible, even though it's referenced to throughout the game, :monster:.

Okay so on the one side I don't like guides beacause it'd be a bigger surprise if I found shit myself / by accident / what-have-you. On the other hand, if it wasn't for guides, I would've missed this and probably a lot of other hidden shit.

Off course now comes the Question: do I go for NG+, or start a new character with a different build? Don't think it'd make much of a difference (
minus the fact I can strut about with the Burial Blade now, all Reaper-like and shit
)

Oh and I'm stoopid;
I only found out now that there actually is a second Bath Messenger store where you can spend Insight on shit. I was wondering what I needed all that Insight for anyway. Finally got the Resonant Bell, and three or four sets of outfits for great justice.

Also the DLC was just 8 your ohs so I nabbed that one as well. Will need to play through a chunk of the game to get to the new areas though.

Am considering going for a more arcane build now. I'll have to look up what is useful.

Been planning on doing that a while ago (you know, when everything's still new). Is that easy to do on the ps4 without having to get external shit? :monster:

I really thought doing it a second time would be quicker. Off course, not having a player or npc to help me didn't help.
