Wouldn't this lead to a massive recall if it isn't patched?
CD Projekt confirmed it's now "working on adding a separate warning in the game, aside from the one that exists in the EULA". It also offered assurances that it's exploring "a more permanent solution", and that one will be implemented "as soon as possible".
Though my twin brother actually has made it a point to read every EULA ...
that honestly sounds like an improvementThe only way it could be worst is if CD Project Red would have shipped empty PS4 and X-Box cases to it's customers.
I have similar feelings on the matter. The hype machine for this game has annoyed me ever since the title was announced. Long before any gameplay was shown many people assumed that by virtue of it being a CDPR project that Cyberpunk 2077 was guaranteed to at least be the game of the year. This zealous conviction from CDPR fans reminded me of the unreasonable hype for any number of AAA games that, in the end, didn't live up to expectation. After years of seeing the same CDPR appraisals written over and over, I almost believed it myself for a moment that the hype bubble wouldn't burst.I am also sadistically pleased because the last year I've been in close proximity to two people who would constantly banter about how this would be the greatest game ever made... without a hint of irony.
