Considering it's still the same platform, I don't see what could be remade anyway.

The story of Dissidia 1 will be in this game, except this time you get the world map instead of the chessboard thing apparently. That's pretty much it.

I think the villain POV you're talking about is that they said there will be stories for when the villain beats the hero I believe. I do remember them saying that a long time ago though, is that still the case or are they just talking about the fact that the villains with the 12th cycle?

Oh, and Force, hadn't seen your comment before. I don't think it makes sense for them to still have the chessboard, but I honestly recall having read somewhere that the chessboard would be available, just in case someone wanted to use, and of course I recall thinking "WTF?". Hope it's not there, it'd just be a waste of disk-space.

Apparently her EX Burst is "Sending" and she's got more than just Bahamut in her arsenal. You can see Shiva for sure, and I think that's Valefor below her. Someone else claims to see Ixion.

I am very curious how they will work her summoning into battle - differently from the summons that everyone else can do. As a summoner/white mage, it's also possible Lightning won't be the only one who can heal. Very intriguing indeed..

A summoner/white mage in a fighting game... and here I thought SE was making progress by having Tifa, someone who fights with fists, in their fighting game... Unless one of her alt costumes is her X-2, which would actually mean she has to change her fighting style... which I think is impossible.

Maybe just Amano artwork, then.
