I know this is cheesy and sappy but seeing everyone sticking together to help one person (even if it can help make the site better-known and all) is heartwarming.

And nobody's going to change my opinion. Way to go, Lex!!

So my application for Gamerspective got rejected, I'm now reapplying for TLS.

According to the guidelines a site applying must have 10,000 unique hits per month on average. I'm actually quite surprised we meet that standard.

Do we, actually? Can we see how many unique visitors we get? Surely Yop must know...

Also, it's apparently 10,000 per badge.

So I reckon the chances for anyone else will be pretty darn low. =/

TLS & TLSF are a little different, but drop me a date range, and I can get you averages.

If I had to guess just based on this month, TLS is about 10K & TLSF is about twice that.

Well, I think the chances of getting more than 1 person in for a niche site like TLS are rather low. I think Lex got through because TLS is a site that screams 'fan passion'. The graphics, the articles, the translations, the format of the Weekly Roundups, plus the fact that we have a very active forum. It's not like 'if you meet these criteria, congratulations, here's your E3 pass.'

But, should anyone else get in, I'm inclined to say: You're welcome :monster: As should anyone who's spent a lot of their free time on TLS over the years. This is an achievement for all of us, really. What we've done is good enough for an E3 press card! Chew on that for a second!

I like Pixel's idea of giving away drawings (and maybe some personal/hand written thank you notes from TLS). I could help with this as well. :]
Perhaps we could also thank donators here on the site by acknowledging their contributions in future articles.

Have you guys heard of an auction of promises? You could run one of those. It can be serious or fun, basically people donate their skills - eg a commission piece of art (serious) or to praise everything you say for 1 week (very serious) then you auction the lot off for money. There's enough talent on here that it could be done seriously very easily. The how's and why's would be need to be worked out though.

Last 30 days, TLS front page got 15K visits (8.5K unique visitors); TLSF got 20K visits from 5K unique visitors.

I am impressed, guys. I am thoroughly impressed. This acknowledges our (correction, YOUR) job on the site!! Well done! :)
