I’m curious, in your mind do you think of the OG and remake as separate experiences? Because since I experienced them both so close to one another it all kinda blends together as one thing for me, so getting caught up with all the material feels like following just one long-running TV show lolIt's hard for me to pick one single favorite but FFVII is up there. Neither! I was, and still am, primarily into fighting and action games. That's my forte. But I think FF7 is going to change that. I'm absolutely gonna check out more of the series.
Yeah my first FF was when Dissidia duodecim came out on PSP, which was more of a fighting game. It was like a crossover with the characters of the main FF games so it was kinda like a primer on the whole franchise.

Aeriths' theme doesn't do much for me in that regard, but I can't even think about "the price of freedom" let alone hear more than 2 notes of it without breaking down into tears, not even exaggerating, I just tried it again and it still works, I instantly start sobbing.
