He’s at least a battle simulator boss, but I’m not sure if he’s only a battle simulator boss, as Nomura repeatedly calls him a secret boss. Also it sounds he’ll also have some role in the story of the DLC either way as well.

It would be neat if they showed her in an encounter with the Turk who blew up the pagoda during BC - but the thing is, the identity of that Turks depends on who the player chose as their player Turk. If, for example, they make it Shotgun, they'll be invalidating the fond memories of all the players who played as Rod, or Two-Guns, or Gun. I'm sure they'll find a workaround, though.

Wonder if she'll bump into alive!Zack....

It wouldn't make sense for people to be able to get the game for free when you're already getting it for free via PS Plus (I know you're paying for the service, but still)

Consumer-friendly models are nice and all, but I think that'd be a little too far. The mindset is if you pay for the game once, you shouldn't have to pay for it again until part 2 and beyond come out

And that is completely ridiculous to me. They're getting a free AAA gaming experience that took years and years to produce and was 60 dollars less than a year ago. Sometimes the sense of entitlement from people I come across on the internet is completely insane.

Same goes for the Yuffie DLC. So, they've spent 8-9 months of labor on completely new content that plays completely new and different from anything we've played before, and they're supposed to just give that away as if it's charity? I mean, come on. It's ridiculous.

Maybe they are expecting that by June, situation will be more normal?

Even still, it's of course a "maximise the profit" strategy. Forcing people's hands to get the new console since, obviously, that's what the big boss wants and what's better for the long run. The $$ always speaks higher. Business in a nutshell.

If the PS5 was more available that'd be one thing, but right now it's locked behind an expensive new console that nobody can even buy, so I think complaints are valid.

Sony probably had some really good arguments for Square, if you know what I mean. Same deal as an 1 year exclusivity treaty. They both got something out of that.

Even if the PS5 was fully available it still wouldn't be a justification, I wouldn't have a problem if the game had released on PS5 only and thus made a ps5 only DLC but it didnt, it released on PS4 first.

FFXV didnt lock its Episodes DLCs behind the PS4Pro and Xbox One X.
