I'm pretty sure (like 99.99%) that it's a troll who used the last bot poll debacle. Honestly CT don't need to bot lol, Tifa always tops, it just feels like someone wanted to actually stir up shit and point at CT for something they don't do. The fact that it happened twice and twice CT were pointed at in a few days feel very fishy to me (in years I've only ever seen Aerith being botted for reference). It honestly takes out all the fun in voting.
It makes me want to not participate in polls anymore; feels like someone wants to makes shippers (CT at least) even more frowned upon/discredited/out of fandom and they were just waiting for that. Just saying.

and I see it when I look at the Tifa tag and I'm like "no one is ever telling those idiots that Tifa is ALSO a deuteragonist?" because anyone who thinks her role is less than Aerith's is an idiot to me. And yes, Cloud is the protag, that doesn't prevent the two heroines to have the same level of importance in FFVII. But I still have to see shit like that often in the Tifa tag because hey, why not shit on characters when people who enjoys them might search for their names? But it's 100% those shippers who're bad.
