I still have him on MSN, but he isn't online right now. Should I message him next time he comes online?

How often do they hold DW concerts in Southern California?

Regards, someone who had to travel to France to attend one.

All the way to France? Sheesh.. I just drove 8 hrs to the city for one. Surely they hold them more locally than that?

I think there's been a Distant Worlds concert in Stockholm, but last year the only European dates were in Germany, France, and possibly the UK.

Now that you said it was an eight-hour drive, however, I think I got off lightly with a three-hour flight. :wacky:

I hear that London one was a big hullabaloo.

8 hr drive isn't so bad. It's not even across one province. :wacky: Cost saver in comparison to flights... that and our rinky dink airport is not reliable at all.

I met Nobuo tho and got him to sign my FFVII soundtrack. :monster: (pic to follow when I'm not on my phone if anyone cares :wacky: )

We've had a total of 3 in SoCal since the Distant Worlds tour began, which is pretty darn frequent for the area considering the tour only started up five or so years ago. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping there's a lot of potential for future appearances on account of annual events like E3 in Los Angeles and ComicCon in San Diego.

Los Angeles - September 2011
San Diego - July 2013
Los Angeles - June 2015

I went to the last two, and I actually stood outside of the first one in mourning because I couldn't get last minute tickets. :awesome:

Plus it looks like they're starting up a new tour; their website mentions something or other about "A New World Tour" coming soon.

Shipping people irl seems kinda weird. If you're going to pick a ship name for them anyway, I'd go for an idiosyncratic name rather than a portmanteau.

I figured it was a joke, which is why I made a suggestion on the type of ship name. As someone who's been shipped with people I barely know, I don't think I'm ever going to stop finding it weird.

Tetsujin means iron man. Aerith is the Maiden Who Travels the Planet.

Based on that, it would be obviously be Iron Maiden. :kermit:

I would think that an artist would be flattered to have their work in a front page article, but Starling is right. Asking permission is the right thing to do, IMO.

Webcomics that get revenue from ads need views on their website. If you post it off-site, you're getting the hits instead of them.
Also the internet has a bad habit of passing things around and just regarding them as sourceless pieces of internet, meaning that artists might get one popular comic passed around a bunch, but get no real increase in viewership on their site or their other work.
Always always always ask, and give proper credit/source.
