My computer can't take 1080p (Horrible power supply, 6-7 year old XP), but my laptop probably could...
As long as it's not a torrent (9 out of 10 downloads have viruses, my computer-expert handy man tells me), though, I'll download. Or I could wait for someone to rip and post to YouTube. But I'm not going to spend money a Blue-ray player just to watch one DVD.

You're probably right. But only last year I spent money on a new DVD player/TV...<.< That's why I'm so reluctant at the moment.
PS3...would love to have one, but...I'm not a gamer. Not yet, anyway. Maybe if I continued to be influenced by SE and FFVII, I'll eventually go otu and buy all that stuff. At the moment, I pretty much depend on YouTube for all my videos.

Your computer-expert handyman sucks, in that case. Torrents usually have little virusses compared to other alternatives (ye olde P2P programs like Kazaa and Limewire, in specific), and since all torrent sites have a social aspect to them in the form of a comments system, you can always read up on whether a torrent is a virus. Plus, a movie file won't have a virus, since it's not an executable.
Use thepiratebay, it's filtered out / got rid of most shit torrents. And a thousand people downloading / uploading the same stuff can't be wrong.

I've yet to see the BR ISO anywhere on Japanese P2P networks like Share or PerfectDark yet.
And if you browse proper torrent sites, there are no viruses. If you're on a site full of porn ads and pop-ups you're in the wrong place. Also, P2P softwares like Morpheus and LimeWire are viruses themselves, what are you doing to yourself!

That's true. I kind of want the box more than the actual PS3. In fact I could care less about the PS3 if someone would just give me the damn box. XD
To be honest, I think the Cloud PS3's package looks better than the actual console.

What sucks is that Bit tornado hasn't been running well for me lately. No clue why. The past few torrents I tried didn't get past yellow, so chances are, all of you will see it before me because it'll take me 3 days to download.

I think the problem is I'm on a wireless router thingy and I have to set the ports just right. I think there's something I'm supposed to do besides that but I forget what it is.

I usually plug my laptop directly into my router when I'm downloading huge files. I also run the risk of being disconnected when the someone calls or wants to use the phone if I only rely on my wireless. Yeah it's a complicated situation but meh. Being plugged in keeps me safe.
