Seriously though I would have loved for her to be playable in the first game and I'm glad she's getting her moment here. And her outfit looks amazing. The girl is fab.

Despite all the bullshit and my jaded status, I get excited for new FF games too. It's just hearing more XIII-2 over Versus makes me :/ But still excited.

And yes, although I can't see much of it, her new outfit does look cute.

I wonder who she'd get paired up with next besides Noel

I just really hope that if Serah's gonna play a major part they'll give her some honest-to-god backbone a la Lightning. Or even some Yuffie-esque attitude.

I want Sazh as a main character and not reduced to a Wakka-esque role.

Yeah, agree. She needs to not be some softy wimpy thing. She seemed cheerful enough in FFXIII (all "I have my friends blah blah"). If there's no Vanille, she'll probably take over that type of role.

The novellas hinted that Serah was more stubborn than Lightning, plus I doubt Light would raise her sister to be a wimp so I'm hoping they keep in line with those hints in her characterization.

It'll probably be a bit longer until we hear about Fanille if only because it might give away a lot of the plot too early but I'm hoping they throw us a bone. ;o;

Sazh is awesome but I would gladly have him at home with his kid...if it means Lebreau is now a permanent party member.

AFAIK, just assumed. Could definitely see them switching back and forth between characters - that was practically the whole first half of the first game after all.

I already mentioned months ago that FFXIII-2 would use A LOT of the stuff that was planned for XIII. And these images confirm it, for me.

As Tifabelle mentioned, this Noel looks similar to Fang... For me, this is what Fang was supposed to look like, had she been a guy.

Serah had battle quotes for the original game, meaning she was at some point planned to be playable. And she is, now. Probably her skills are, partially and in an adapted way, what she was going to be in XIII.

As for Serah's personality, I believe she'll be the kind type who's extremely stubborn. Meaning if things go her way, all's well, but if not...
