So are these all the characters that are playable? Or do some just have to do with the plot like Rasler did in 12?
When is this scheduled to be released?

Those are Gadot and Lebreau. In the demo they're uncontrolable party memebers. I'm not sure if they'll be playable in the game.

The black haired chick from the TGS trailer is named Oerba Yun Fang, and she's a l'Cie.

The name of Sahz's summon is Brynhildr, and the next Famitsu issue is going to feature a 21 page article on XIII about new characters and whatnot.

Oh and that chick is a playable character, she fights with a spear, and Bahamut is her summon, and apparently he's not massive in this game.

I'm just happy somebody's back with a spear. Random made-up weapons like Hope's are cool, but spears are total badass.

Highwind is tradition, but not a strict one.

I hope she is a Dragoon, it'd be nice to have a lady take up the title besides Rat Girl.

Yes, Freya was awesome. I'm just saying, let's get some human representation for the ladies.

In that case I agree with you. More than anything though, I hope she has an interesting back story because from what little we've seen, her attitude seems different than the rest of the cast.

No she doesn't, she sounds like Balsa from Moribito, thanks to them having the same VA. A character who also was a spear wielder.
