Ah, I see it this time. Thanks. I wonder if that's actually related to the storyline? Wasn't "Final Trial" a separate thing on the menu from "New Game"/"Load Game"? Makes you (i.e. me) wonder.
Interview w/ Haruyoshi Sawatari about Episode Gladiolus and Chapter 13 update (spoilers obviously)
The chapter 13 additions sound pretty cool:
"So before, obviously, it was just Noctis by himself, kind of alone without the powers of his weapon summoning abilities. But what we’ve done for chapter 13, is we’ve added a separate route for Gladio and Ignis after they get split off from Noctis, so you actually get to play as Gladio, and see what happened from their side of things until they reunited with Noctis. You’ll see some additional cutscenes [that] just show you what took place while Noctis was kind of on his own. You’ll get some actual gameplay with the party of Gladio and Ignis together. You’ll see what happened to Emperor Aldercapt and Revis, and where they ended up being during the whole time. These are just the supplementary scenes that were added into chapter 13, and that’s just for chapter 13. But aside from that, we’re overhauling the ring magic, so the three spells that you could use with the Ring of the Lucii, those are completely powerful now, like super powerful now. So those are some other things to look forward to."
New Timed Quest is up:
It's just longer compared to the rest of the chapters. You're also kind of... limited to what weapons and spells you can use.
I thought it was a challenging part of the game, one that I actually had fun with. *glares at Pitioss Dungeon*
It's a little too long, but the wailing and gnashing of teeth over it was melodramatic, imo.
Also I was level 40-something at that part, lol

Also, I still don't think that I've ever seenTitan summoned in a single battle in my game (either that or I saw him once with really awkwardly placed visuals). Ramuh is still disproportionately present whenever the Summon option appears, followed closely by Shiva. Hell, I've even seen friggin Leviathan get summoned 3-4 times.

Yeah, I thought landing the airship there would be half the battle, and then I went inside the dungeon itself.
