Well, as for my own comfort, I would definitely be up for it. Thanks for keeping me in mind for something like this, I appreciate it. <3

As for price, that also depends on how big you want the picture to be? I'll be doing it digitally so I can make the canvas any size. I dunno if you'd want me to print it out and send it to you or if you'll ever print it out yourself, but I'd need a standard size to go by, preferably (like 8.5x11" or 11x14", for example). The bigger the size the more it would cost of course, since I can fit more details into it. So if you want, give me a size and I can give you a price. If you just want a digital copy, I'd email it to you.

A blind summoner is a cool idea <3 And a shattered moon and a dragon, yes please I can already imagine I'd had fun with something like this.

I'm not sure.. I typically deal with pixel sizes/resolution of canvas when getting a good idea of the size.. As for physical, I usually just use it as background fodder on my desktop and might print it out, so yeah a traditional size ratio would be preferable to present skewing.

Well, I have a base rate for portraits (headshots and full-body) here on my DA account, so that's sort of what I'll be going by. Though since you want your human OC to be small in the foreground and the dragon to be large in the background (right?) then it would be modified for this, as the portrait commission info I have listed is purely for drawing a person as the main subject.

Okay frack, here's a size chart and some base prices I'm throwing together quickly (or not so quickly ) for a full-color, two characters and detailed background painting

Realistic rattlesnake sculpture, my latest commission! It's about 2" tall and 2" wide (from one side of the coils to the other side).
Made with a wire armature and super sculpey, then painted with acrylics. Took many hours to sculpt and many more to paint! I'm pleased with the final result though, and glad to say the one who commissioned it was just as pleased.

First snake I've ever sculpted, too Kind of challenging to keep the clay from getting smushed as I sculpted the coils. Good thing I have needles to help smooth it out; they come in handy!

I kinda wish the underside had the little lines. The snake is phenomenal so that's pretty much the only thing missing.

Oh crap that was more than I expected. xD I get a lot of commissions but I try keep well under 100$, mostly because of the exchange rate for CAD/US right now.

I would've added lines if he wasn't already small, but it would've been tough to make the lines super thin so they would look good and not look fat. Thank you very much though, Starling!

Aww, I understand. >,< If I could do them cheaper I would. I try to base it off the time I put into it; a picture like the one you want would take a lot of hours, and I can't afford to do it for less than what I listed.

Anywho, have a sketch, ya'll. Did this a couple weeks ago. Colored pencils on tanned paper. First time I've ever used colored pencils on tanned paper. A whole 'nother level of difficulty when you can't erase
Tanned paper color didn't show up the best on this pic. Anyway it's cool stuff, I can use a white pencil for highlights or 'color'. <3
Outlined the dragon in a dark color to make him stand out.

Thanks Lith! Ah, I know, the tan color doesn't show up very well. You can kind of see the difference when you compare the wing tips to the outer edges of the paper not colors blue. Wing tips were colored white.

New painting~ And it's an actual painting this time. I painted it on Friday, outside on the front porch while it was warm and sunny for once.<3

Something different than usual in that it's actually painted on paper and that it's quite abstract. But I had fun with it, and I quite like the outcome!

Painted purely to hang in my room on the side where my desk and where I 'work' at. It's to provide warm/fiery colors and bring more energy to my room. I've come to realize my room is full of calm, cool colors. Not the best color combinations for energy and motivation! I'm planning on painting a couple more to go with it and bring more energy to this side of my room.

It's exactly what I was going for; I got it hanging up in a frame in my room now, and I love it. A spot of fire on my wall. <3

An uncle of mine on facebook told me he wanted to buy it. I'm keeping this one but... dunno if someone's ever just seen something I painted before because I wanted to do it and liked it, and then offered to buy it. (translation: it wasn't commission work and done for myself instead). Like that hasn't happened before. It's kind of flattering.

I've watched Tangled before (and really liked it btw), but I still had to google the sun symbol to check.

You're right, it does look similar. Not intentional, but pretty cool, seeing as I was going for sunny, bright, warm colors and energy.
