I'm in a bit of a quandary. I had always planned to transfer the character I made in GTA Online on the PS3 to the PC or PS4 one day, but I don't yet own a PS4 and I've been waiting for the PC price to drop. Today I found out that the transfer system will close down in early March, so I only have a couple of weeks left to do it.
I can't decide whether to buy it now (it's on sale in the Humble Store) or wait. On the one hand, it would be fun to start from scratch again, but on the other, I had a level 120ish character with an awesome garage of cars, a very good win:loss ratio in races and a custom racetrack I was very happy with. Another dilemma is that I'd like to get the game on PC, but I don't think I'd have anyone to play the online mode with, since most of my friends are console peasants have it on PS4 (and there's no cross-play). I've also heard about lots of PC gamers being banned of cheating – wrongly so, if their personal accounts are to be believed. But I'm not buying a PS4 until the FFVII Remake comes out at the earliest, so it's basically a choice between transferring my character now to PC or starting over later on either platform. What do?
