Perhaps, its still been a drastic change. If it weren't for the occasional positive statement regarding the Compilation, I'd swear Masamune hacked his account.

I know, even in the context of Kingdom Hearts logic, that really pushes it... If your heart is released by killing a heartless, and the corresponding empty shell of a body is destroyed...how the hell does this work out?

And your right, that seems like a big thing to just forget to mention. "Oh by the way by before we get to Xemnas when we kill him we could maybe be accidentally reviving Xehanort...LETS GO GET EM!!" And why the hell didn't Organization XIII go about restoring themselves this way?? Much easier than waiting for the last keyblade wielder to boink enough heartless over the head and one by one restore kingdom hearts

An annoyance that despite all you do, will just keep reappearing no matter how hard you try to stop it.

In that context, it makes a bizarre sense that a heart will find its way back to a Nobody if it's floating around and you utterly thrash it. Especially if there's some other component that makes a Nobody a nobody that breaks down when they get utterly thrashed.

Unlikely. Yen Sid said it means Master Xehanort is back, and Yen Sid has the distinction of being one of those Bearded Guys Who Know Stuff.

When it comes to Heartless and Nobodies, I'm pretty sure there isn't a difference. In any case, the translation I saw for the secret ending used this line: "If one frees the heart that was taken by the Heartless, and annihilates the flesh that had become the Nobody, the two will become one once more."

Do you disagree with that translation?

It is just like "Saw"! Six entries in and the guy in charge wants to release one per year.

They just need to start releasing the new KH games around Halloween to properly emphasize the horror of the declining creativity and loss of good ideas.

At least "Saw" will soon be blessedly put to rest.

And agreed, Mako. I really hope this 3D fad passes (I was very pleased to hear the other day that the new Harry Potter movie will not be in 3D. I'm not the biggest HP fan, but I give it a lot of credit for that )

I agree with what Spoony said about 3D - until they can make home-movies like DVDs and BluRays have 3D, it's just a gimmick.

Honestly I think its still a gimmick even at that part. It will not cease to be a gimmick until it substantially changes the way you experience things. (i.e. a holodeck). Until that point, I'm not interested.

Hearing about KH 3D and how it's about Sora's and Riku's mark of mastery exam and how it'll lead into KH3 just annoys me. Why does it have to be on a handheld (which I'm not gonna get)? D<

Although I'm quite surprised they said there'll be all new Disney worlds in this game. As opposed to visiting Agrabah and co. for the 1200th time. I loved the movie Aladdin, but...goddamn, do I hate fucking desert levels.

Nomura pretty much hinted that this will be the case.
Once KH3 is out, expect the announcement of a Final Mix followed by the announcement of 3 more spin-offs for 3DS, PSP2 and uh, iPhones or something.

Also, I want a keyblade armour for Sora and Riku in the next game. Would be cool as a Drive Form, maybe.

Yeah, the armor was pretty cool. The only thing that didn't totally make sense was when they decided to use it - or more accurately, when they didn't. There were a couple times during Birth By Sleep that they appeared to be in a very dangerous situation and I would saying "wouldn't this be a good time for your armor?"

Granted it didn't seem to do them a ton of good in the ending, so who knows.

The armour just seemed to be the most random thing in BBS. I thought it would be made up if perhaps in each character's final drive form they were wearing the armour, but that didn't happen.

Although I was happy to see it in the Mirage Arena. I played in their a lot with two other friends, and it was just fun to see it played like that.
