On Ventus- No, Roxas IS Sora's Nobody. 358/2 and the start of KH:2 don't work if he's not.

Ventus probably has some actual relation to Sora. Like Blood relation.

Y'know, Namine and Roxy are special due to their hearts still existing, but if we're going with the 'Heartless still have hearts' idea, that doesn't make much sense, since Xemmy should have had emotions when 'Ansem' was still around. And the others until their Heartless get smacked. So it's not just the hearts still existing if Ansem still has his heart. It's gotta have something to do with light.

It matters because Roxas is his nobody. Sora has two bodies in existence, same as Kairi et Nomine.

His body is actually a body, just like the rest of the ORG XIII and Namine. Xion is different, but she's a special case, with a different origin than all the rest. The twilight town he was in at the beginning of KH2 was digital, but he left that digital world to enter the real Twilight Town before fading. He and Xion were also interacting with the real Twilight Town and other KH world during 358, both reminding people of and 'being reminded by the memories of' Sora during this period.

Here's a wacky Crack Theory for KH-

Cloud's Light/Dark bollox is even more complicated than we think. Like Xehanort's heartless, he IS a heartless, mired in darkness, but with light and dark residing in/manifesting as different people, but he also has a Nobody too. Saix is that nobody.
My basis for this? Jack all. And that's why it's crack.

Excuse me if this has been talked about already but I after I read something on this page about Terra's heartless pretending to be xehanort pretending to be ansem pretending to be xemnas' penis, I couldnt really go through this thread without losing my patience

This has been kinda bugging me and I dont know much about KH outside of the 2 main ps2 games but does anyone know why the hell Ventus looks exactly like Roxas? Seriously Nomura? The same exact charter model? Were they really that low on ideas or is there supposed to be another one of Nomura's back asswards attempts at explaining this as an exchange between the properties of hearts, souls, light, and darkness and blah blah blah some metaphysical bullshit that makes no sense even in its own context.

Im really just curious this time to see what Nomura has pulled out of his ass to explain this one

Xehanort returns Ventus to Eraqus after this in curiosity, but the connection with Sora remains. As such, Ventus looks like Roxas and is reflected in Xion because Ventus is literally a part of Sora. Has been since pretty much birth.

Interestingly, this has additional implications for KH and KH2 apart from Roxas.

Also, it's Xehanort-possesing-Terra who then steals Ansem's identity, not Terra's nobody impersonating Xehanort then Ansem.

Xehanort steals one man's face then another man's identity.

It happens in the prologue of the game, when Evil Spock drops Venti Latte on the Island. You go inside Ven's head for a minute and something talks to him, calling itself 'a new light that was drawn to [Ven]'. Ven laments about his heart being fractured, to which the new light goes 'Well, have some of mine, then. We can share!'

Given that and the Epilogue, it's fairly clear cut.

The reason Xehanort possessed Terra was to get a spiffy new youthful body to replace his old one, as far as I understand.
As for Xehanort's heartless, Terra's 'heart' seems to have been ejected from himself when Xehanort took over his body, so we have his remnant wandering around in KH2FM.
There might be a Xehanort Nobody still in existence, but I would not lay odds that there is.

Xehanort's consciousness went from his body to Terra's, then split into the Heartless and the Nobody, one which kept his identity, and the other which took Ansem's. I'd be curious to see a detailed timeline, if the Ansem identity theft happened before or after the moment of disjointing between XH and Xemnas.

I thought Xehanort's Nobody the one that was accounted for, the one in Organization XIII. (Xemnas, wasn't it) EDIT: well...I guess that means its Terra's Nobody? ...not that doesn't work either...
