I can't believe its taken a literal thread hijack to finally provoke any kind of reaction from moderators who turn so many blind eyes to the spam in this thread that they make Naruto's Danzo look like the perfect picture of optical health.

I'm kind of bummed that I have to choose between being faithful to Liara in ME2, or shacking up with Garrus - to the point that I will probably do two playthroughs with this import JUST for that reason. Apparently, cheating is an issue in ME3. Or so I've heard.

ALSO: why would everyone hate humans but love Kasumi? Here's why. Ashley is bound to get hate because most gamers are not looking for someone who has a superstrong religious background and complain about all these cool new aliens.

Kaiden has no personality, outright; he has no emotions, and he construes friendly conversation as hitting on him. This is similar to why a lot of people don't like Jacob; I even remember freaking out because apparently I accidentally hit on him. Miranda complains a lot about being perfect, which obviously, a lot of straight female players don't particularly care for.

Jack, who I would most compare with maybe Morrigan, has all the downsides of Morri without any of the pluses. Morrigan will eventually realize you genuinely want to be friends and will feel like she doesn't deserve it in any way: it's really sweet and heartwarming, actually. Jack just gets slightly thawed and doesn't care about the player unless you're a dude and want to Paragon-mance her. Pain in the ass.

This leaves Zaeed and Kasumi, both DLC characters. Kasumi has a really cool loyalty quest which felt pretty unique, as far as loyalty quests go, and she still has a fun, cool personality which warmed her up to me. Zaeed is sort of interesting, I suppose, but you end up punching him a ton and, for me at least, vicariously hating him for starting the Blue Suns which almost tried to kill Garrus.

UUGHH. I remember getting into that fight with Miranda and Jack, and chosing Miranda that time. I managed to get enough paragon points to make her like me again, but she still shouted "FUCK YOU!" everytime I went to talk to her.

Then I was like, "No. Fuck you" and she died that mission because I was so annoyed. Can't stand lip from my characters. At least Miranda can be your friend without needing to hump you.

See, neither do I, but whenever we stopped to camp I would give her presents and she'd be like 'B-BUT I AM A BITCH WHO DOES NOT DESERVE FRIENDSHIP OR LOVE' and if you said you were friends she'd be like 'I DO NOT DESERVE A FRIEND WHO LISTENS AND CARES WHAT I DO B-BAWWW'

That and it just feels good to melt Claudia Black's cold, icy heart. Ehehehe

This! I liked that you really had to earn Miranda's friendship/loyalty (unlike jacob who was all HUR HUR WE'RE FRIENDS RIGHT), and it was obvious it was rocky, but she didn't need to go out of her way to be a bitch just to prove she didn't trust people -- and in the end, completely admitted she was wrong and that she actually looked up to Shep.

Not to mention her salute to Shep at the end + her resignation at the base felt great.

and was frustrated when he threw a fit about it. I found him easier to get along with, but sometimes he was way too sensitive of a character. Liliana took forever to get romantic with. I think I had issues with her and Sten all along the way.

It pissed me off because it obviously had nothing to do with Grey Warden honor, since even the guy says they recruit murderers/blood mages/thieves/etc doesn't matter as LONG AS THEY HAD THE TALENT, and he's only baawwwing because it's personal to him. Hey asshole, Grey Wardens are supposed to stop the Blight at any cost, it's the fucking oath you took, so how about you save your daddy issues for another day, grow some balls, and let's go kill an archdemon.

iIm surprised Leliana took a while for you -- most people get ninja romanced by her.

But Zevran's romance is actually pretty epic too, I enjoyed it. Plus that guy is just fucking hilarious.

I did get ninja romanced by her, but only when I didn't want it. When I did want it, it took forever. Actually, I don't think I ever completed that playthrough and got with her.

In fact, I must have stared about a dozen games, then only finished one. I need to get on that.

Y'know, I actually like it when characters have these terrible character flaws. I didn't mind listening to Ashley, although she wasn't the most fantastically interesting person. I kept being intrigued by the xenophobia and what caused her point of views.
I could at the very least understand why she was such an ignorant bitch, even if I didn't like it.

I felt I had to say it because I mixed up 'hating the character' with 'considering the character as poorly written one' in some of these posts Likewise, Kaiden isn't a bad character. A bit of a block, yeah, but not poorly written.
