I think they've just been wording it poorly and people have been cherry picking out of things said. I approve of having a multiplayer way to get things done or a single player way, but I wish they would just state it simply like that so no one will be bawwwwing at 'needing to do multiplayer'.

Yeah I just picked up my most recent Gameinformer here and it says you don't need any add-ons or multiplayer etc. to get the best ending.

I have said this several times, posted links and shit, but people still don't get it.

Going back to the beginning reminds me of how much I feel invested in this game. I wish I wasn't as excited. I'm not sure any game could live up to how much I want this game to rock and want them to keep my thane alive.

Looks like they took a lot of inspiration from Deus Ex's cover system, which is pretty awesome to say the least.
