I wouldn't know since I have no clue what Kiefer Sutherland sounds like.

I'm okay with David Hayter not voicing Big Boss. I think it shows his transition to an older character who is not known as "Snake" anymore.

Also, it looks pretty neat. I liked MGS 3 the most out of the games, so, Big Boss is win.

Him not being voiced by Hayter, however, is not. What, he became too expensive? Or maybe Snake doesn't actually have a voice in the game, fuck if I know.

I'm just looking forward to how everything comes together in MGSV. It looks like my fears have been answered in one respect, with that hospital level seemingly being one dedicated to crawling around crippled. Would like to see more footage of able-bodied stealth gameplay =p.

- David Hayter's not in it for reasons that don't make sense
- Ground Zeroes is the prologue and will be released first, The Phantom Pain will be a much bigger open-world game
- No comment yet on how exactly the two pieces will be distributed
- You'll play only as Big Boss
- There'll be about 20% sci-fi/fantasy elements (flaming whales of doom etc)
- Big Boss' horn is a piece of debris embedded in his skull
- It's for current gen, next gen can't be commented on yet
- Demos were running on PC, Kojima says console versions will be "close"
- The whole Joakim Mogren/Moby Dick circus was basically because things got boring
- Kojima says he wants this to be his last MGS, also acknowledges he says that every time

By the end of Peace Walker (literally, the end post-credits which are the most fucking epic thing in the game) David Hayter gravelled up his voice even further than usual.

I assume Kojipro thought he might have hit his old-voice limit by then lol

But then again, even Akio Ohtsuka is still voicing Big Boss for the jp language >:

Honestly listening to that, I think I'd prefer if Big Boss was the one voice by David in a Metal Gear remake, rather then Solid Snake.

I'll be interested to see who's next for the role. As much as I love David Hayter and his voice, Big Boss has been voiced by other people. It isn't unheard of.

I took V to be Big Boss' patient number and that someone is being told that he has regained consciousness as it's written that "V has come to" not "V has come too".
