It's that awkward moment when you walk into a room and find a bunch of internet nerds touching each other's dicks.

Then you get curious... and you start asking yourself how long they can edge themselves without cumming.

In one instance you have people who are willfully spreading misinformation with the end goal of validating their beliefs. In the other, you have people spreading misinformation with the end goal of validating their beliefs.

I don't like talking about these people, and I really don't know why we're still doing it, but since this comment speaks to how the fans in question are supposedly treated elsewhere on the Internet (including this site), I feel a need to respond.

Plenty of people are enjoying FF pairings of every kind (mostly the lesbian kind) all over this thread, the clubs here and the Internet as a whole. There's only one small group dedicated to a single pairing that feels the need to hole up in a bunker to trade dirty pictures.

Not that they would do that anyway since Aerith is supposedly virginal, and sex is a Cloti, non-spiritual, non-romantic thing, so ... I guess it's more that they trade AerithxCloud emoticons? Anyway!

The rest of us enjoy our TifaxCloud, LightningxTifa, LightningxAerith, TifaxAerith, TifaxEverybodyattheSameTime, VanillexFang, and, yes, CloudxAerith freely wherever. Why the difference in fans of these other pairings, and even fans of the same pairing?

Probably because we don't say things like "It's all open to interpretation" or are only able to type the word "optional" if it's in all caps.

Like what you like because you like it, for fuck's sake. You don't need canonicity for validation.

CloudxTifa is canon and a cute pairing, but it will never come close to the hotness that is TifaxAerith for me, nor LightningxAerith.

But it's not open to bloody interpretation of which is real. Nor is how free fans of any of the pairings I mentioned are to enjoy their pairing on this site.

You know what I find really crazy, the fact that I've actually run into some fanatical Cleriths who don't just think that their pairing is canon but that it's inconceivable for Cloti to be canon. Seriously I actually ran into one who said CloTi is a sick pairing that doesn't make any sense and they're more like brother and sister. She also then had the nerve to bash the Cloti fans by saying that anyone who ships Cloti is insane and off their rocker.

I-I can't even fathom the stupidity of some people, Cloti doesn't make sense....SAY WHUT NOW
