Let the screencapping commence! I've captured video of all of Jessie's scenes in Chapters 2-4 (haven't brought myself to do 12 yet) and I've gotten screens done for Chapter 2. I'm still in the process of uploading them, but I wanted to share this as a teaser for now:

i was going to ask you before i went to bed, but i forgot : p can't wait to see more!

oh yeah and btw, i went back to your demo caps because i needed one of the screens as a reference, and i came across the scene when she runs after she says "have fun". how did you get rid of the running avalache members? i wanted to do that myself but thought it impossible.

I didn't take them out of the scene, I went through it frame by frame and captured certain screens that I thought looked good, that's all. MPV player is great for that because all you have to do to take a screenshot is hit S and it saves it to your desktop. Oh, and do you think you can do a Jessie gif from one of her "Psych!" moments with the word on it? That would be a fun one to have. :D

the text should originally be there from the subtitles. if you mean the psych moment when
she was in front of cloud's apartment door,
i already did it. it's in tenor's library. in fact as soon as i posted it, people were already using it haha.

Well it's hard to read that text, I meant having it in bigger type.
But maybe you could also do one of the kiss she gives him as well as one from after she snuggles up to him on the bike right afterward.

yeah, i also figured you meant that. i'd have to have footage with no subtitles so i could do it myself. at least that's a cleaner way of doing it. if i could find a way to put the text over the subtitles without them clashing and it being messy, i will try it out.

i've been looking around YT for a non subtitled playthrough and they're just not available. this is the only reason why i really want to get a PS4 and play it myself, so everything is untouched. but that's just a fantasy dream at this point...

That's one of the last weapons he gets in the game, the Twin Stinger. I was doing this on a repeat run with chapter select. Do you mean him smiling at her again? He eventually smiles at all the girls, I think, but it's nice that she's still the first. Also, I do have video of the scenes without the subtitles. I'm in the process of uploading them to my google drive.

it's fair he smiles at all the girls because eventually everyone needs their shipping content, but jessie made him smile within mere minutes of meeting him. he did the same for tifa but that's to be expected, they're childhood friends. but with aerith, it wasn't the same with her ;) they needed s good amount of time together before that happened. anyways that wasn't my point, that's just one of my favorite moments. not only does he smile but even
offers his thanks. [/spoilers] it sounds shy and flattered imo.

also, anticipating your subtitle free videos! can't wait :)

"are you seriously that desperate" was an appropriate response from cloud, but i thought it seemed a bit out of line saying it to her, since he warmed up to her long beforehand. so i thought him saying that was just strange. so it's cool to see he didn't actually say that.

The english script was punched up a bit in a few areas, that's for sure. I still think that's a funny line though. I appreciate how different his relationship with Jessie is compared to Aerith and Tifa. There's a lot more playful back and forth.

there's a lot more of that in Part 2 when/if she returns.

yeah ody. there's more banter with the two that makes them refreshing and fun. i would certainly love more translation differences in the future! here's hoping i can find some more^^

I think my favorite sike moment,
was when she invited cloud to come into her home. She stuck out her tongue and winked at him

I really wish we would get the same script that the Japanese have.
