Jessie’s mother and father who live in the downtown area of Sector 7 are pleased with the success of their beloved daughter. Her mother is a good cook and always has the ready for whenever Jessie decides to come home. Her father Rowan was in charge of the maintenance for the Mako reactor but collapsed due to overwork and Mako poisoning, which has left him in a coma.

Sorry no confirmation on anything. They're keeping the details of the sequel close to their chest.

The only thing they said was that they showed Biggs alive to make the players go "wait that's not right" and create "unease," whatever that's supposed to mean. They were also oddly vague about Wedge, though Makoeyes is insisting he's dead.

Does that site show what the outfit looks like? Once you get a cosplay outfit online, that's when you know you made it big.

And I'm not so sure Mako's right about Wedge. They did a fade to black for a reason, after all, instead of just showing it definitively. And seeing Biggs alive definitely made people do a double take, and that SE said that makes me even more certain they put Jessie's glove there in purpose and for a specific reason and not just as a random nod.

Mako was also wrong about a lot of stuff from the leaks, kept insisting it was false when a lot of it turned out to actually be true. So don't take his word too seriously.

I like him but the way he thinks is pretty different from the way I think about this stuff. Anyway, best not to talk about people behind their back.

The thing with Wedge is that the ultimania, when describing the scene with him and the whispers, says that he was "made to follow the course of destiny." Now, that could just be a cryptic way of saying "The whispers shoved Wedge into an elevator shaft where he fell 50+ floors to his death," or it could be intentionally vague to disguise the fact he's still alive. I thought it was notable at least thatnthe party doesn't know he's dead, so that's going to have to come up at some point anyway.

It would seem odd to try to hide the fact that he's dead. One would think you'd only try to hide something that doesn't fit with what came before. Does the Ultimania say anything about the scene where the Whispers surrounded Jessie when she threw the grenade?

A statement like that coming from someone on the inside is huge to me. I guess Jessie's had a bigger impact than we thought!

I'd Like to say that Ive been following this thread for a while and I am happy it exist. Jessie for me in this game was like a slow venom in my veins and when I say Cloud pick her up from the ground when she hurt her foot, I was completely intoxicated.

Ive been researching everywhere as well to try and see if we could figure out if she somehow survived and it looks like we will need to wait for more info from SE before we can be more certain, which kills me.

I think it would be cruel for them to lead us on with her glove on the table and Biggs somehow surviving, to then just reveal that she actually did'nt make it, but I feel that Nomura would be troll enough to do that. Please don't twist that dagger anymore you bastard!!!
