Saw the new trailer in front of Sherlock Holmes. If anything, it actually managed to sell me on Anne Hathaway playing Catwoman- which I very much wasn't expecting to happen. Aside from that, the trailer was really busy, so I'm not sure what to take from it.

There are some really good story elements in it, don't get me wrong. However, lots of new scenes felt like they weren't all cohesively connected together, so it felt kinda jumbled to me.

I saw it, and I'm not impressed at all. Bane looks stupid, and I don't know what the fuck X is talking about, Hathway is just lame in this trailer, and her costume is still moronic.

This just isn't Catwoman and Bane, and that's how I'm going to approach this film, with its own original villains.

the trailer was really busy, so I'm not sure what to take from it.

I just didn't like that a lot of pointless shots of the cast coming over from Inception were thrown in there, like JGL and Marion, basically saying nothing other than "these people are here". :\

Would have been better if it was just Bat/Cat/Bane.

That having been said, I'm excited!

I wasn't sure why Bane blew up the field. It was kinda interesting cause you dont see that very often but.. I was more confused than impressed/wowed.

It's just... I can't see anything of the actual Bane and Catwoman in this interpretation. With Ledger's Joker he was still this crazy clown prince of crime but... I can't... see that same sort of charisma in these characters?

It doesn't help that I didn't have much faith in Hathaway's acting abilities before. The preview just killed all hope imo

I think I'm going the way of Brent on this one and just pretend they are originals.

I remember when the first shots of joker were being released i was in a msn conversation with dacon, wander and if i remember correctly Biff Mcnasty. And we were all complaining about how Dark Knight would be crap and how we disliked Nolans choice of ledger. I even recall Wander saying he was more excited about the Silver surfer in the Fantastic Four sequel (and he said it without sarcasm too!)

And well, the Dark Knight was a great movie

Yeah Bane does look kind of crap, but who knows maybe it wont be so bad whilst watching the movie and being captured by the tone of the film.

What you're forgetting is, then we saw the first real trailer and we were all really excited all of a sudden.

The Dark knight is a good movie, but it's really not as great as people say. It sorta drones on, and feels more like an interconnected miniseries than a single film.

It's not just Bane either, Catwoman looks pretty crap too, and looks like Hathaway's dodgy acting ain't gonna make it any better for me.
