I do, pretty much every week. Still can't think of him as anything but Don Draper.

I haven't watched Mad Men frequently enough to associate Jon Hamm solely with Don Draper, but I do think he would be generally slated to play men with very classically good looks and an attitude to boot. That said, I could imagine him as Bruce Wayne, but less so as Batman, if yknawmean. :monster:

In a way, Hush is just the Fernand Mondego to Batman's Edmond Dantes. He isn't a villain I can take seriously.

Hush is a painful, painful, painful pretender.

My Entertainment World, which is a film production site used by crew members and actors to find jobs in the industry, has updated their information for The Dark Knight Rises, and this new story description indicates that Dr. Hugo Strange is, in fact, the main villain in Christopher Nolan's trilogy ending Batman sequel.

Apparently, the movie will also be shooting under the alternate titles 'Magnus Rex' and 'Fox Hills Green' to keep prying eyes away from the set.

Here is the plot synopsis offered.

"The Dark Knight Rises (aka MAGNUS REX & FOX HILLS GREEN) - Mid June, 2011 - India & London, UK & New York, NY & Pittsburgh, PA; STORY: As Batman deals with his new status as a wanted vigilante, Dr. Hugo Strange, a villainous psychiatrist, concocts a plan to destroy him and become the new Batman. (Posted: June 17, 2010. Revised: April 14, 2011)"

The site also claims that there is a Baby Geniuses 3 in the works, which we have confirmed to be true, so this must be solid information.

Interesting. Strange(lol) too give that Hugo is the main antagonist in AC. We shall see if this is true.

Warner Bros confirmed today that Marion Cotillard and Joseph Gordon-Levitt have joined the cast of The Dark Knight Rises, which is being billed as the “conclusion of the Dark Knight legend,” meaning the end of Christopher Nolan’s run on the Batman movies.
The two have been in various stages of negotiations for months, with much speculation on who the two are playing.

The studio said Cotillard will play as Miranda Tate, a Wayne Enterprises board member eager to help a still-grieving Bruce Wayne resume his father’s philanthropic endeavors for Gotham.

Gordon-Levitt will play John Blake, a Gotham City beat cop assigned to special duty under the command of Commissioner Gordon.

Both worked with Nolan on Inception.

“When you collaborate with people as talented as Marion and Joe, it comes as no surprise that you would want to repeat the experience. I immediately thought of them for the roles of Miranda and Blake, and I am looking forward to working with both of them again,” Nolan said in a statement.

Ugh. Waste of talent.

Disappointed.

Then again, I don't mind having big names tied to supporting roles. I just hope each character has their time to shine like they did in Inception.

By the way, with rumors of a third villain going around, is it possible Miranda could be Talia is disguise?

Calling bullshit right here. I'm pretty sure we aren't being fed the whole story.

I've heard that lots on other sites, especially because Ra's is supposed to appear in a flashback.

Gonna tell you right now it's bullshit.

A pool of venom, derp.

It doesn't necessarily have to be like that. It could just have healing properties, like those tubs in Wanted.

Or Ras uses Venom to heal himself. You never know. All we really have is green goo. It being a vat of venom is the simplest answer, especially since we have confirmation of Bane but not Ras.
If they do bring Ras back, and that's a big If, it makes narrative sense to make Venom do double duty as a healing agent as well.

Unless they have completely changed what venom is, this is all nonsense.

If you're going to even go that far, why not just use the Lazarus pit itself? Changing the properties of venom to achieve the same effect is dumb.

Yes, changing what Venom does would be part of the scenario.

One less element to introduce in a single film. I'm not saying it's true to the original tale, and I don't think it's going to happen, but I can see it happening for narrative simplicity.
