I saw "Holiday killer" somewhere, so maybe Calendar Man?

I'd imagine a pudgier more slothful person for Calendar Man. He's not really as pretty as Levitt :monster:

I've heard rumors that the league of shadows might be in the film. Maybe an officer there? White Ghost maybe? :p

I was always of the opinion that it was stupid for Two Face to die from that fall anyway.

So we know for certain Gordon-Levitt's role? *having read page 9*. If so, I'm rather disappointed. Even though I said I wouldn't like Joker in DKR, I just read an article that showed his strong facial resemblance to Ledger. Google image search "Gordon Levitt Ledger", its fucking amazing, imo. Why did I not see this before =p.

It looked like Keanu Reeves at me in some photos, but whatev. :P

Seriously, though, they do look alike, albeit for the shape of the nose. o.0

This film doesn't even look good, but I'm posting the trailer simply because it should give us an idea of what Bane is going to look like. I'm sure Tom hardy will be bigger than he is in the film.

I saw this trailer when I saw Hanna, and had totally forgotten about it, but Bane was exactly what I was thinking when I saw it. The best shots of Tom Hardy's build are probably at 0:10 & 2:05.

Not big enough or hispanic enough to be Bane :/

Here's a better shot:

Hopefully he'll be bigger than this. He probably just used Warrior as a stepping stone in terms of physical conditioning. But, he's got a lot of work to do if he wants to portray Bane accurately.

JGL in my DK is probably the shittiest move Nolan's pulled. I know the guy can act, but fucking hell, I don't want to see Inception 2.0

I'm not saying it's like Inception. I'm just not very fond of the idea of FOUR actors in Inception sharing stage in DKR as well, and two new ones only recently pulled in from Nolan's latest blockbuster. Especially since they are, once again, both on the same side -- both Hardy & JGL are villains in DK, like they were shady-peeps in Inception.

It gets harder to dissociate actors from their previous roles and buy them as their new characters. It's an effect that has nothign to do with their acting skills & everythign to do w/ casting.

So by that justification Nolan shouldn't hire anyone who might have worked with another actor already in the batman films?

If the guys do good at the part who gives a fuck if they were in inception?

No, I know Nolan recycles actors and I was all for Hardy.
I just think this is a significant chunk of the cast.

It's a matter of degree. I never said actors can't work again with each other.

I think it means Bale should be replaced as Batman.

NO.

Though not gonna lie... Jon Hamm fits my image of Bruce to a T. To the point where I think it's a shame we'll never see him in the role...

which is funny because MANY people seriously wanted him for Superman :monster:

I GUESS WE'LL ALWAYS HAVE DON DRAPER

I can't see Jon Hamm as anything other than Don Draper. I want to see the film Howl but I know I'll be thinking of him as Don Draper the entire time, and it'll probably spoil the intended effect.

I think when an actor plays a character multiple times it becomes harder disassociate the actor from the character. But, these are completely different films. It's the actor's job to prevent the audience from making those comparisons with solid acting. There are plenty of directors that have used the same actors multiple times. Martin Scorsese is widely known for doing this. Casino and Goodfellas practically shared the same cast. He also used Leonardo Dicaprio in three of his films. It is the actors fault if he gives a terrible performance. But, if you're going to make those associations just because you see the same names tied to a film and deem it a mistake, the blame falls on you entirely.

Just my two cents.
