Well, in Mass Effect 2 you have the option of dating a guy whose wife died several years ago, but that doesn't mean your relationship with him is any less deep. It's just different.

Of course, I am not saying any affection Cloud may have had for Aerith was leik that of a wife you have lived with and had children with, but I'm just saying it's possible to love more than one person, just like Aerith loves Cloud and Zack.

When does moving on mean you didn't love the first person?

Two or so. Not that Cloud or Tifa were conscious for one of them.

No, but it does make that love very suspect when you do it IMMEDIATELY.

If we imagine for a moment that Cloud loved Aerith then we have to remember that he got his memories back in the lifestream. That would not make a classical 'moving on'.

My thoughts on Aerith's mental state are that she's trying to move on without bring ready to move on just yet.

OH yeah I remember that. It's funny how they'll say a kiss would prove Cloud and Tifa are a couple, but sex means nothing :monster:

Of course we all know it's just the High Affection scene that the sex happens in, and not the low affection version where a quote once used to say the scene was apathetic and ends short is now just saying Cloud was apathetic toward Tifa's love advances.

Really fucking hate that backpedaling.
