I mean, worldwide recession, oil spill in the gulf, war in Iraq and Afghanistan, and about a million other things that people know and maybe don't know about, and it's over a video game paring that they are getting pissed and shouting out their windows?

Oh I totally made it up. I had originally envisioned it as someone telling Cleriths to get mad because they have been lied to all these years and it's not canon. But then I figured it worked a lot better as a desperate rallying cry. One last push against the CloTi onslaught.

Yes, I do know it IS canon. All right, Nomura said it has no real ties to the storyline, but I still think it counts for something. Think about it, there HAS to be a reason as to why they would continuously show us Cloud and Aerith looking for each other, then finding one another(along with other romantic couples)at the end of the game. They could have easily showed Cloud walking back to Tifa...but they didn't. So, yes, it is canon.

[Oh my, I just noticed how she used Ichigo and Senna as proof for ribbons and love interests in another post, I might just die of laughter - also that FC at BA is mostly her talking to herself, it's crazyyyyyyyyyyyy]. It's also crazy how they talk about if Aerith being dead means nothing and her and Cloud can still marry, go on dates... I'm scared and scarred. :/

Cali's a certifiable nutjob with MPD apparently, but that aside, her arguments have long ago stopped being amusing and now I just look at them with pity and a faint nauseous sensation. Tifa says herself in CoT that Cloud only starts spending more time at home AFTER the inclusion of Denzel. Who is--as Cloud himself says--a child delivered unto him by Aerith. So, the only time Cloud ever sticks around is when there is a connection to AERITH involved. It's only AFTER Tifa pushing him and nagging him about where his emotions lie that he finally just has enough and leaves. If it was all about finding a cure for Denzel, then why the fuck is all his research shit at Seventh. Huh? HUH? Jesus, you Clotis.
