Sweet God, the bullshit in this thread is stifling.

I know she was drawn by horny Japanese men, but is her outfit really anything she should be wearing to save the world? Granted Aerith's isn't much better, but she was just the slum drunk stranger on the street who got swept up in everything too quickly.
So because she wears a skirt and a shirt....its an outfit not meant to save the world? Right. So I guess a woman's not allowed to look sexy and confident but a guy like Sephiroth can gallivant in a Shinra sponsored bondage outfit and flash his chest and beautifully shampooed hair while trying to destroy the world. Gotcha.
And her CC/Nibelheim outfit... Again, yes horny Japanese businessmen drawing a loli I see the point here but still... Is that any way to dress as a teenage girl? And I hear the argument that she dresses that way to try and impress Cloud. Does that mean it's okay for young teenage girls to dress like stylish sluts to impress a guy? That sets a very bad message.
Can you please get the fuck out of the Victorian age,
please? FFS, people in reality wear much worst. She dressed sexy for the man she was happy to see. How the hell is that abnormal? Are you Catholic or something? What bad message? That teenagers care about their looks when they're young and in love?
I find her personality completely unrelatable. She's been crushing/loving this guy for what... 5 years now? Maybe longer if we delve into childhood and can call that early stage puppy love. And yet she could never once muster the strength to try and come forward to him about her feelings until AFTER her competition is sliced and diced.
Yeah, because fighting to save the world, wondering why the guy she liked was acting like a totally different person, and getting over the trauma of losing her family and village left plenty of opportunity to open up the can of worms of starting a relationship mid-fighting. Does that seriously make sense to you? And you really thought Tifa saw Aerith as competition and waited for her to die to make her move? Did even fucking play FFVII?
Sorry, I feel like I'm on clerith.com or something. This is ridiculous.
And if we go about the Highwind Scene, she FINALLY comes forward about her feelings. I thought "Yes, maybe she's finally going to be more human this time around." But then given information about the Chocobo Stable almost-scene I think.... Wow, what sort of message does THAT convey?
Yeah, because two adults having sex after realizing their love for each other, before the possible end of the world is such a terrible and sickening message.
There's this love triangle thing going on, and Cloud's a grieving guy. Then Tifa, who feels relieved that her competition is gone, takes advantage of poor Cloud because people who are upset/depressed are more/usually easily swayed into sex. I have many negative thoughts revolving around this, but none that will come out more coherent enough (not at this hour anyway) other than Tifa's having sex with a guy to try take his mind off shit that's troubling him. While this is realistic and happens irl... again... bad message.
To be honest, I thought you were trolling because I didn't think you'd have such rabid Clerith shipper
madness ideas. But apparently you truly believe Tifa was happy Aerith died because now she could finally get Cloud to slip her the Buster Sword. That is so fucking backwards it hurts. Tifa felt horrible and depressed over Aerith's death and she'd never want that for her. Aerith and Tifa were friends. Good friends. And she did not see Aerith's death as a chance to finally fucking move in on Cloud. Where the hell did you get such a tasteless, character bashing idea?
I have to call bullshit, hard. It's not everyday I can confront this batshit bullshit Clerith crap here.
