I know I mentioned before that Cloud and Aerith are shown in the intro of Itadaki Street Special, how come?
Someone said that Cloud and Tifa had alot of material together in that game, is that true?

They do, but hell if I can reall what al it was. I do recall Aerith messing about with Angelo the most.

Here's an argument I recently witnessed. Who wants to tear it apart?

Cloud doesn't really care much for his living "family," and Case of Tifa proves this. He views them kinda as roommates, and doesn't really want to be around them much. That's why the AC credits and Reminiscence show him on the road.

'The happier he is with Tifa and the Children..."

Reminiscence of AC is still part of the story, and still shows him heading home to spend the day alone with his family.

Quite often, it is stressed visually in CoD and ACC that Cloud and Tifa are a replacement family for Denzel. It's also stressed that Cloud is looking for a cure for Geostigma for Denzel. Strange they'd emphasize this when Cloud views the kid as little more than a roommate he cares nothing for.

These combat runs are fun, but what I don't like is the blatant disregard of some of the facts. You can show each and every point that Cloud is very happy with Tifa yet there will always be one mofo who will take the conflict of AC and CoT as "ZOMG TIFA'S A NAGGING WHORE" and totally ignore narrative and factual evidence to support their ass-backwards opinion.

I mean you've got people ignoring the AC script because they don't want to admit to the fact that it blatantly says that Aerith didn't react to Cloud while he drove by on his bike. That should tell you something

Cloud does everything for the lulz. Whatchutalkinabout? He saved the Planet from Sephiroth for the lulz. He had smex with Tifa under the Highwind for the lulz. He buried Aerith in the lake of the Forgotten City for the lulz.

He's just living with Tifa for a warm bed and tasty food, remember? Because Cloud is a big jerk.


I haven't seen Clerith arguments from ACC yet. They're slacking off. DDD; Don't tell me they haven't watched yet?!

I'm not trying to be mean, but I really do wonder when they'll realize that pink is not and will never be the Clerith color. How hard does the slap have to be for them to notice the sting?

Maybe someone should go and tell them.

The point that Pink is really the Z/A color and that her ribbon is a connection to Zack, and that everyone wears a ribbon in AC has been made to them many many times, and they deny the facts everytime.

I've seen folks claim Cloud still wears the ribbon in DoC even though we never see under his sleeve. Oh, and Yuffie doesn't have the ribbon, even though we can see it.

Also, a book that calls Cloud an Ex-SOLDIER is inherently trustworthy.

Oh, and a few folks have tried taking on ACC, and a few have admitted that it kills their back to back = Romance shit, but they insist the extra ending is C/A oriented somehow, and there's nothing Z/A to it at all, because Aerith isn't associated with those particular flowers in ACC. Of course, those are the same folks who insist AC's second credits with 'calling' still counts, and that the flowers in Dissidia mean Aerith.

Hell fucking yeah, Angeale put it on a "hiatus." More like a dirt nap hiatus because too many EBIL CLOTIS WITH NO REAL LIVES stormed the place hurling their "facts" and "canon" and they got fed up with it and now are doing more important things like...staying in the safety of their pairing forum sanctuary. Where their pairing can be accepted without question.

What's really lulzy about the Northern Crater is the fact that they closed it after 'WE WAS JUMPING AT THEM LIKE RABIDS,' when at the start of the Northern Crater, Cleriths dominated over that forum and there were hardly any Clotis there. And then the game switches when it's becoming a Cloti dominated forum because no one can can actually properly debate (with few exceptions) there, claiming that they have a specially saved Word Document for all of our posts and that we jump at 'em like stalkers.

I'm still waiting on that saved Word Document....

The thing is, how many members does CxA forums have? A few hundred? If even a small fraction of those people had the balls to defend their stance, those six people would be swamped. But only ONE -- angelalex, who happened to be admin -- was willing to contribute, and so it looked like those 6 people were overpowering him. (Well, common sense was doing the actual overpowering, but nevertheless ...)

If there were too many common sense-spouting people there, it's their problem, not the other side's.

I have seen this article. It is an old magazine since before AC came out and Nomura/other staff never said it. It is no different than the magazines calling Tifa Cloud's main squeeze.

First of all, it was a magazine. Second, it wasn't a quote by Nomura or anyone from the staff. When it first came out, some pinkers thought it was something Cloud said in-movie, but as always, they were wrong.
Third, nowhere is it stated Nomura retracted that statement as to not "ruin interpretationz" because HE NEVER MADE IT!

Thanks for clearing that up, I couldn't find anything about it on the internet so I had to take her words for it. *shrug*

don't Tifa and Denzel both wear wolf rings? (I didn't see if Marlene did) Which connects them strongly to Cloud, who else could of given them to them? Not to mention the extra scene before the Bahamut fight where he saves both of them quite spectacularly

As I have no way of knowing what leaves their mouth until they actually come here - Ryu, could you be kind enough to tell us how they think C/A is present in the added ending (which has such a blatantly obvious innuendo it hurts the innocence that is Zerith ).

If you ladies and gentlemen don't mind me saying, I'll have to be a bit blunt and admit that I find amazing just how some people (who seek to find symbolism even in the tiniest or even non existent details) try to deny what has been deliberately put there just because it symbolizes something they don't like/ship/whatever. That's not seeking out the truth for the questions surrounding the LT... That's just trying to deny what the game (and, to be more specific, the Compilation) has shown us.

Such people, no matter what pairing they ship, can't even be considered FF7 fans in my book since, well, they end up disrupting and destroying the essence of the same characters they claim to love. A true fan would respect what the story of the Compilation has delivered, despite personal preferences. Because, in the end, what matters is the story and the experience as a whole.

Anyway, that's at least what I always believed above everything, even since the days of the good ol' LT debates on Gamefaqs and the original Northen Crater threads back in the day,

Even so, I digress... Reading this thread has made me feel incredibly nostalgic. It's been quite a while, after all
