Yeah, there's that, too. But the alien thing was cooler. I mean, she got abducted by aliens and LIVED. That's pretty awesome.
Speaking of which, I hated doing that part; I always screwed up and didn't kill enough of them. So yeah, she got abducted a few times. D<
I hope they remake MM for the 3DS, too.
I haven't played that game in forever; barely remember what happened in it. Besides that creepy moon...

Not just you. Both she and Link appear rounder and less angular than their TP incarnations, recast with a nod, I think, towards emphasizing youth and inexperience. It doesn't change much on link, but with her rounder face and very blonde, nearly pure yellow hair, it's off from the Zeldas we generally get.

It's a different style, for sure.
But, I like it. Very much like a painting, which is what I believed they aimed for. One thing I adore about the LoZ series is that, despite having similar themes and concepts, the presentation is always so unique and distinguished almost every time. I mean, technically, almost every game has been knight-in-shining-armor-saves princess-and-kingdom. But, despite having so many titles, this series is considered the best for the Nintendo system.

Really? I think it was mentioned that they wanted to go for a painting sort of look. I quite like it. But I'll have to see the entire game before I can say it's as good (or better) than TP.

The most interesting idea I think is that they'll be giving us the new items first. He notes that previous Zeldas introduce the key, iconic items in the early game then move on to the more unique, new items later in the game. They're flipping it so we can get more use out of the new features.

It's a Nintendo game. Specifically a Zelda game. Of course it's going to be delayed.
And seeing that preview has me sold. Like always, the main installments of the series never fail to deliver something awesome and unique. I can't wait for this game. The art style is really awesome. It reminds me of a perfect fusion of Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess, with the cell shading of Wind Waker. I never thought they'd be able to merge all three but they did.

I'm a bit late to the show, really late. I'm just playing my first Zelda game today. ): I didn't grow up with a SNES or N64, so I never got a chance to play the mask game, and the game with the magical flute xD I'm playing Spirit Tracks, I don't see much Zelda fans speak about it, so I guess it's hated ? But I don't caaaare, Link is so cute and going around in a train is really fuuuun. I'm thinking of buying a 3DS so can play the other Zelda game.
I don't really like Zelda, the person, she's...alright, but she's a bit " Link, do this... Link do that, Link you can't go there, Link save me, Link you can't go back on the train till you solve the puzzle " !!
The only Zelda thing I had when I was young was a picture book of Link saving Zelda from a evil bad guy, and it was in parts, so I never got to find out what happened, but the book was still amazing and beautiful <3 Oh ! I like Tingle, he's just so strange that it makes me laugh xD
I'm so calling my kid Link though, and he's going to be badass.

Y'know... I really don't like the coloring style for SS. It's a big turnoff for me.
I mean, I'm probably gonna get it anyway. It's freaking Zelda and I've played almost all of 'em. But I dunno.
And I wish Zelda had a more... wise look about her instead of mildly derpy.
I mean, I don't care how pretty she is, and I think she looks fine in there, but I mean, as the holder of the triforce of wisdom I like to at least see her expressions show some more... wisdom.
I dunno. Maybe I'm crazy.
But the actual game looks really cool and I'm excited!

I like it; it's different. Something I adore about the Zelda franchise is that they always keep it fresh and unique. Every game has it's own unique world, unique style and unique set of characters despite the fact that it's really just repetition.
I believe the coloring style was meant to give more of a painting come to life feel and I can see why it might not be that appealing. Maybe I'm just a hardcore Zelda fan and will love it regardless, I dunno. But they've yet to fail me on the graphics/art style front yet.
As for Zelda, they did give her that look and attitude in TP. But they took it away in SS, maybe because they wanted to accentuate something else? I don't really know. I do like this Zelda, though. I think she's more fun and cute and it's a different side to her that I've never really seen. They tend to change up her character depending on the kind of story they're telling, though. Which is most likely why she's less wise and more cute/sweet (aka, the focus on being Link's love interest this time around).
