But I wasted so many hours of my life on Minish Cap it's SO MUCH FUN. And I uh, sorta like Phantom Hourglass? I wasn't that big on the Oracle games though.

I never played Minish Cap or Oracles I just really disliked Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks grrr.

I have to say, the ending of Skyward Sword is both the lamest and most interesting plot twist of the series.

After defeating the final boss, the Demon King Demise, he places a curse on Zelda and Link, swearing that an incarnation of his hatred shall pursue them and their descendants for all time, and even if they strike it down it will be reborn again and again forever.

Yeah. Turns the entire series on its head, but kinda dumb that the big reveal about Ganon is just that he's the spectre of an even more dangerous and powerful enemy in the past. Makes me wonder if they're gonna bring back Demise in a later game.

And in less-spoilerish news, apparently no Malon. I am VERY disappoint!

Well it's the sort of thing that makes you rethink the story, but in regards to the rest of the series it's like "really? We're going this way?" I would offer a comparison, but it would probably reveal the nature of the spoiler, and I'm trying to be considerate. :p

In all seriousness, she wasn't a main character so I never really cared for her. And then there's some of those cray cray and scary Malink shippers. They turned me off of her pretty badly, ngl. D:

Also, not really a spoiler, just an opinion about a dungeon but i'll spoiler mark it just in case -

the one dungeon I saw on Zelda Wiki looked like a factory with lights, conveyor belts, piping, control panels, etc. Like, no. Factory levels do not belong in Zelda. We can go steampunk-magitek a bit, but not to this degree.

She was feisty and quick witted? I didn't really see that. :T But hey, to each their own. No offense was meant. She just ain't a character I really care for in the franchise.

Feisty SS Zelda on the other hand... Now there's a character I can't wait to see in the new game! Unfortunately, I'll be working tomorrow and therefore handing over the game to other people to play while I have to wait until I get home. ;O;

Didn't they...already mention Zelda and Link were cursed in another game? or was that the series? Or manga? I'M GETTING MY CANONS CONFUSED BUT I COULD HAVE SWORN THIS WAS A THING ALREADY....

Also I'm pretty indifferent to Malon being in the game. She's a cute cameo but she doesn't affect the story one way or another.

If it makes ya feel better Drake, I love Malon too. She's a cute little kid during Link's childhood, and a gorgeous redheaded horse trainer as an adult. She teaches/sings one of the prettiest songs in all of Ocarina. Malon is awesome.

But, it is true that aside from being the means by which Link got Epona, she doesn't have too big of a role to play. I'd certainly not have minded her appearing in Skyward Sword, but the lack of her isn't hurting things much.

Not that Zelda isn't cute, but I think that SS has made Link and Zelda look like siblings more than ever, no big deal though as incest is all the rage these days
