So, after ages and much, much searching, I FINALLY found a copy of Wind Waker for gamecube. Used and dirt cheap on ebay.

After weeks, I finally get the package in the mail, tear it open and see my copy of Wind Waker.

I've been working like a dog and therefore, have had no time to play it. It sat on my desk, taunting me. So today, I finally had nothing to do after work and decided, hey! let's play Wind Waker!
So I excitedly turned on my wii and fangasmed when I inserted the disc and almost died when I saw it working on my screen.
And then, I realized, hey. Why isn't my Wii remote working? WTF? Is it ruined? I recharged it and still nothing. I reset it and nothing.

So finally, after trying everything, I turn to my trusty best friend who always helps me when I'm at a complete and utter loss with no life lines; google.
Not only do I feel super stupid but I'm also super pissed that I can't play Wind Waker. I need a damn gamecube controller AND a gamecube memory card if I ever want to actually play Wind Waker on my wii. I swear, the amount of money I spent on the fucking accessories could BUY ME A GAMECUBE SYSTEM. WTF.
I try EB games and they have a shitty non brand controller for 16 bucks with bad reviews as well as a shitty non brand memory card, also with bad reviews. My only options are order from ebay and wait another fucking month, as well as pay a ridiculous amount of money for shit that should be pocket change considering how old this system is OR hope and pray my brother drives me to the flea market this weekend.

Yeah, for a final boss he wasn't all that hard. I never even game over'd. It's a pattern battle, just finding a rhythm.

I have to say though I am thoroughly enjoying the game a lot despite all its shortcomings. imo SE did a couple things way right, and a couple way wrong. It balances out.

You never game over'd, belle? That move where he goes high in the air and slams down for massive damage and status effects took me out twice I think. Quite irritating.

nope. I came close, but never did. I had my healer (Hope) on Haste and all kinds of buffs. When Orphan does that move, doesn't he warn you first? I don't remember.
When I came close to dying, I summoned because when the summon leaves, the characters are revived and fully healed. And I think proper timing on that was what kept me from dying.
I did a lot of switching between party members, too, to make sure my buffs were active and HP was topped off.
