Oh god my mom works as a cleaner at a local GP and hears the story about stupid people. There's seriously way too much people that go to the doctor when they have the sniffles.

...That's probably the downside of having affordable health care like the socialists we are, people going to the doctor for bullshit. Of course, that's better than in the US where people need to save up money and beg to see a doctor while they're having a concussion or shit like that.

Virus scanners in general make a computer slow, which is why (along with the fact I never get virusses) I don't have one. Fuckers.

(Also, it's because the scanner occupies your hard drive so other programs can't access files. Turn it off and let it run when you're not using it, or get a fancy SSD which should speed up the scan by a factor of over nine thousand and/or not cause noticeable slowdowns)
