As I've mentioned before elsewhere, navigating Tumblr is like a maze to me. All I know is whenever I do find myself there all I see are pretty/funny pictures and gifs. I had a look at the stuff on yours and it looks great as well as the whole design.

So, what brought you to TLS?

Tumblr is a maze for sure. Here you guys focus on content which is king, but on Tumblr it's pretty graphics that are king esp for fandoms. There's a huge trend on Tumblr among editors right now and that's using Adobe After Effects. To show you what I mean, take a look at this editor, aoimine. That's what is really drawing in people.

I have After Effects and have been playing around with it. It's very interesting to say the least lol. I'd also like to mention people like to follow blogs who's blog themes are nice and airy, not cramped if that make sense. I guess you could say Tumblr is "superficial". And thank you ^-^ I'm not fond of the style the ff fandom likes on Tumblr but oh well lol.

What brought me here as a whole or just for helping with Tumblr? Well, to be honest I found your website about a year and half ago looking for ACC online. I stumbled across your "The LTD is over." article and my mouth dropped because I had no clue there was way more to FVII than the games and movie. There were books too!? My mind was blown, through here I found Danseru. She had lots of essays of FFVII on Tumblr, and I realized there was a really nice cloti community on Tumblr so I created my side blog Our Final Heaven so I could just enjoy cloti...then erm...it turned into a multi fandom blog because I got sucked back into my childhood x.x But overall from seeing Danseru and looking at the forums, it reminded me why I loved the community so much.

As for helping the TLS for the Tumblr? Well Teioh is a dear friend of mine, and I really enjoy helping others in any way I can

Of course Tumblr would use something like AE to make shitty gifs. Talk about unnecessary lol.

Dont get me wrong. AE is an excellent program for making gifs. It just makes me lol that gifs of that quality are being made in AE when you could just as easily make the same quality junk on a webpage lol.

If your gonna use a good program may as well make a good gif Sorry for derailing just thought it was funny.

@Ganriel, Oh no I agree with you but unfortunately not everyone see's that or understand that. :/ I'm just saying "Hey, this is what it is". I'm not well versed in AE but I'm learning. It's just so hard to be different on Tumblr because people are set in their ways. Today for example, I saw this AMAZING gifset and it has like 10 notes but this one which was"cookie cutter" has almost 2k. Sigh. Very depressing if you ask me xD

It's refreshing to hear someone say it out loud to be honest...Can't really be open there or you're bashing such wonderful artists >.>

Edit: I'm not saying these people suck, I just feel the fandom on Tumblr doesn't allow much room for graphic freedom

Heard that. That's how it always is though. Back when tagging was big all the tags that took 5 seconds to make with the first c4d render found on google images that was crudely copy and pasted in with 0 blending get all the attention. Mean while no one notices all of the ones where the artist actually did more then just copy and paste

I know what your getting at though. It just makes me lol that work like that was made in AE since its so basic. So many options with keyframes and making some 3D space with the camera , hell tossing in some plug ins like Boris or something by VCP/ could go a long way. And in the end its just a very meh set of gifs that could be made in like 2005's version of gimp lul.

The HAES stuff really pisses me off on Tumblr. It's such a perversion of the original idea it was originally meant as a morale booster and to help people become healthy even at extreme obesity.

But nope. Tumblr happened and they twisted it to being "You can be healthy if not healthier than fit people at 500lbs!". It could have been a really great thing and its just an awful ignorance machine now.
I have a buddy who believes it hook line and sinker. He's pushing 400lbs and claims he cant lose wait because of "muh condishunz" mean while "snacking" on what are full meals for me every half hour. .___________.

Those people really should have a camera pointed at them with a calorie counter counting up (think Epic Meal Time). Their cundishuns are that they don't know what a normal eating pattern is (or what not being overweight is, for that matter); their genetics are things they keep in the fridge whenever they feel like a snack.

Oh wow, I know what you're talking about now. I have an Xkit that blocks things like that. The whole "you can be healthy at 500lbs" thing kills me. While I believe people should be comfortable in their own bodies, you can't out train a bad diet. I'm very tiny height wise, I am 4' 8". When I graduated high school I was 98lbs, life happened and I gained 20 pounds! It took a year to get off those 20 pounds because I thought I could train REALLY hard but still eat what I wanted. Nope! Now I'm working super hard to get rid of the small belly fat that I have. I eat clean and honestly, I've never felt better. Again, each his own but I find Tumblr so unaccepting of other POV and I'm finding the extremist start to go there because Tumblr is like "OMG, THIS PERSON IS RIGHT." I just stay in my own little corner T^T

I'd still like to think you can eat anything as long as you work hard enough (I mean running a marathon or working in arctic conditions - for the latter you need like 7000 calories a day, that's like thrice as much as normal people do... and a LOT of food. Like you'd seriously have to force-feed yourself. Same with body builders, those guys are actually mostly limited by how much calories their digestion can process. They end up chugging down liquid food by the gallons. They've got a different kind of cundishun if you ask me,
