So, should we just decide on one person to do all this or should a couple of us pool a few different ideas together, because it seems like there are a few of us all coming up with stuff.

And the font I used in my banner is the same font I used in the linkback buttons. It is called Birch Std and it came pre-installed on my laptop.

I dont think it could hurt to have options. I'll continue with this one if you want to continue with yours. If you'd like i can send you the lifestream brushes ive made

It would be most win if you could make that figure more blurry, maybe some underwater god-rays or something. Also, for the design, I think it would be best if there's someone that made some sketches first.

But before that, some wireframes could be made - very simple sketches that just contain the layout, nothing about colors or fonts or imagery or whatnot, just the positioning of the banner and other elements.

I kinda was referring to generic lightrays coming through the water, but shadow could work. I was thinking even more subtle though, .

oh, well ive already put some light rays coming from the surface. one shining on her, and casts the shadows. maybe i can make it more obvious

Were you going to add the little light orbs around the lifestream later on?

(Also - was there any reason why the FF Logo gets cut off at the bottom?)

From what i can see from other sites, the banner can be made up like this

Main image as background image, another bg image of same width under it. Over this are the menu images linking to Home Forums Shop(if we want one). Any other ideas what else should be linked to?
Then maybe another bg image under that if needed

I do plan on trying the little light orbs, but i quite like the simplicity right now, so it would have to look really amazing for me to keep it .

The banner is just cropped, i dont know why i did that XD

We had to make a small team to make the site, make a brainstorm, and make some interaction among it.

We need a tidy postbit. =/ All we did on FCF was rip one from another skin and it made it look a million times better.

Brainstorm is always good. Open a new thread and start blurting ideas - and, in order to make it a good brainstorm, don't comment on other people's ideas. That's step 2 of the creative process, . Just blurt out ideas.
