Just switched to the UC4 theme that I got with my game, it's so nice and peaceful that now I realise Aerith's theme was irritating the fuck out of me as well.

I'm in Chapter 18, currently
getting shot to hell in Avery's mansion
, but Force and I are now waiting for Micah to get home so we can go get some Lebanese food.........sorely tempted to just bar them from my apartment so I can keep playing. But then they probably wouldn't bring me any food and that would suck. But man oh man oh man. This game. I can't stop playing, I love the story, I'm so glad that
Elena is here now, but good laird they have a lot of talking they need to do, and honestly I think she should slap Nate but that's just me maybe
, I really want to know how this is all going to wrap up together and oh! Also!
their mom's name is Cassandra? That's MY name! :monster:

I'm actually very disappointed in Force that he would do such a thing to you. tsk tsk

I just discovered how to broadcast on Twitch :aah:

I have no idea what I'm doing. :monster:

Also,
I love how Nate and Elena's house is messy. This speaks to me on a spiritual level.

Hahaha yes, indeed he should, but this was the only opportunity we were going to have to hit up the Lebanese festival :/ it was sacrificial of both of us, hahaha.

I also appreciate that
Elena is the gamer in the relationship and Nate as no idea what he's doing or even what a Playstation is.
:monster:

Either way, currently on chapter 7, trying to
escape from the ballroom.

I just bought the game, yey :monster:

Remind me to not buy it in a physical store again; I got the normal version, but I could've gotten the plus edition (which er, does nothing special but eh) for €10 less if I bought it online, :monster:. Off course then I'd have to wait until tuesday.

wew lad up to chapter 5 already (idk how many chapters there are, 15ish I guess?). Graphics are pretty, lighting and shadows and shit, cutscene animations. Gameplay animations are still a bit jerky, but then I don't think there's a way around that without making the game feel a lot slower.

There are 20. It's pretty long.

So I just completed it and wow! :arr:

I couldn't have wished for a better ending to the series. It's perfect.

Sam and Sully in that job they were talking about at the end.

Currently starting chapter 12, loving it so far.
I have to say, the Monkey Island Easter Egg in Chapter 11 was phenomenal :D

Finished, but now I've got to shower and head to a friend's birthday shindig so I'll have to write up final impressions later

Man the
Ballroom

I wrote a significant portion of this on my phone and accidently hit back and erased it :( so i'll try again. I reached just the beginning of Chapter 13. It is undeniably excellent.

This game is gorgeous. Obviously the scenery is unbelievable, but even in the sorta half-cutscenes when things are zoomed up on Sam and Nate's back, the guns are so incredibly detailed.

It's so satisfying when you manage to stealth your way through an entire encounter. MArking enemies is super handy, as is the tall grass and the AssCreeed notifications. THrough almost all of the Scotland encounters I went undetected. But by Madagascar I wanted to actually use some of the weapons so I mostly fought.

Obviously we knew Drake's dishonesty was going to come back and bite him, but how the hell did Elena find them? And even if she found them, how the hell did she find their exact freakin hotel room?

I like the puzzles, they struck a good balance of maintaining the "This is Indiana Jones so it's not that hard" mystique while also making them a bit tougher, definitely enjoyable. I LOVE the driving and boating segments that at least make it FEEL open. It felt so real, I feel like i spent my day in Scotland and Madagascar. The dialogue ia of course a huge part of the IMMERSIVE-ness.

I'm still afraid of the ending, but for now, it's wonderful.
