I've basically been listening to this album non-stop for the last day and a half or so. It's been awhile since I've been as obsessed with a new band as this.

Listening to any album for one and a half day non stop would drive me crazy, even the best album ever.There's no way I could enjoy listening to music that way.

It takes a really good album for me to be able not to get sick of it after listening to it that long. This is my 33rd time listening to this album which makes it my most played album of 2014. Guess that settles the "album of the year so far" question, then

to be fair I haven't been listening to music non-stop, or really all that much over the past couple of days. This only really represents five consecutive plays.

Listening to an album obsessively in a short amount of time, is imo still a waste. Like pouring down a good bottle of whisky in one night. Then again I don't remember the last time I listened to an album more than 3 times a day, probably an album I got tired of.
