Hard to believe this album came out twenty years ago today. It's probably difficult to overstate how much this has influenced various doom/death/prog metal albums that have come out since its release.

Robert Wyatt - [Rock Bottom #03] Little Red Riding Hood Hit the Road [7:41]
I will never understand how it is possible to write a track this amazing that plays exactly the same forwards and backwards. Wyatt also deserves credit for doing Radiohead almost 40 years before Radiohead did Radiohead. It's like the DNA for "Like Spinning Plates", "The National Anthem", and "Pyramid Song" all rolled into one. Probably one of the most brilliant tracks I've heard this year.

Judging from the PA ratings it looks like you can't go wrong with any of the first five studio albums or the live albums Are(a)zione, Live in Torino 1977, and Live 2012. I can vouch for the first four studio albums and Are(a)zione, anyway. Don't have the others yet.
