You know what I would like? If they gave Tifa a different outfit. Or at least maybe re rendered it to not be leather. It looks nice in sketches, and I've seen good cosplay outfits that use different material, but the leather just looks weird on her. I dun like it. Poor Tifa. :(

Of course I know this probably isn't happening, but eh...

LOL. Different outfit definitely isn't happening.
I don't think there'll be more Aeris. You give her more and you run the risk of making it seem as if she's back. She's dead. Maybe an extra line of dialogue, but Aeris is the symbol of Cloud's failures and a dead comrade. Giving her more screentime in AC is just wasted screentime. I think they're likely to focus on battle scenes, kids, AVLANCHE and prolly Sephy. Cause that mofo didn't get enough, although his presence looms over everything throughout the movie.

I'll be happy with more AVALANCHE and Sephy.

Tifa's outfit is perfect and must definitely stay the same. In fact all of their outfits are awesome. But Tifa especially :monster:

Aerith and Zack walking away seemed tosymbolizeCloud's guilt finally lifting. Now, I wouldn't object to more flashbacks like he's having with Zack, and those are a good way to give either Aerith or Zack face time without making their deaths meaningless.

I unfortunately can't find anything to back this up at the moment, but I seem to remember hearing that the movie is a half hour longer.

About the fighting, I don't think any combat scenes are getting reworked except the battle with Sephiroth. All that other time does APPEAR to be spent with story (though mostly of the kids). But we've still seen very little, so who knows.

The new trailer mentioned 30 minutes, but if that's only new scene or the combined time of all the new, revised and re-editted scene I don't know.

The Highway Battle with Loz and Yazoo is being changed as well.

Though better than making a lot of new appearences, I'd rather the film not be too full of flashbacks personally.

It was something I felt before AC was released though, when some were hoping for lots of flashbacks. It's nice to see familiar scenes in posh new graphics, but I would rather see them developing the story in the present rather than filling time with looking back at the original.

Oh, I agree. I meant it as if they have to put more Aerith and Zack in, I'd prefer flashbacks to then continuously showing up rather than being dead.

I thought I was the only one who hated Tifa's redesign.

Looks completely homely and uninteresting, and I'm so sick of leather looking shit.

I like Tifa's design. I'd prefer the shorts to be shorter, but I think she looks nice in it. Of course, my fave is her original FFVII one

I don't think it's unintersting, I just don't like the way leather looks in the high-quality graphics. It almost looks like it doesn't fit her properly. :/

Reading the script, I was hoping they'd add some of the stuff in there. And it looks like some of it has been :monster: The first one, anyway.

Some new scenes shown at Jump Festa:

- Scene of Tseng, bloody and laying on the floor (from Elena's POV, maybe?)

- There's a Kadaj, Yazoo, and Loz scene. At first it looks like the top of Kadaj's outfit has dissappeared? Then his usual costume appears.

- Reno in the helicopter, chasing Yazoo and Loz on their motorbikes.

Those are some pretty good scenes.

That's the kind of thing I had a problem with in the first edition of the film.

We didn't see what happened to Tseng and Elena, it was like the whole ordeal was sort of glossed over.

At first I didn't mind the way that we only heard the action at the northern crater; I considered it a cheap but good way of telling the story, the same with the re-used scenes during the Rufus-Kadaj scene in Edge. With the above mentioned news, things are looking up a bit.

I personally dont really want to see Tseng and Elena`s torture process. Rather Id like to see how Vincent saved them.

Maybe the bit where we see Tseng is when Vincent comes to the rescue?

Anyway I don't mind the ambiguity of the fight at the northern crater. I think it kind of adds to the drama. I do, though, wish there was more news on what all went on while Tseng and Elena were held prisoner.

I think Vincent finds Elena and Tseng in the forest (he says they were brought there), and bloody Tseng scene is in the Northern Cave. I forgot to mention that :monster:

I think that's probably going to be their 'birth' scene. First they're made naked, then clothes materialise like the Masamune did.
