Final Fantasy 7.Catching a Chocobo is much harder than I remember.
I only started the chocobo catching near the end of disc 2. It's a lot easier when one can one-shot-kill most creatures that hang with the chocobos:lol:.

I am currently playing Crisis Core. I'm really enjoying it! I just have to keep remembering that Sepiroth is still a good guy. He makes it easy, though, by being quite mushy.

Playing Borderlands. Which is either an FPS with RPG elements or an RPG that uses FPS gameplay. Regardless, I'm never going to think drop systems with only one manufacturer are realistic again. Also, the you've-stepped-into-a-comicbook graphics are amazingly well done.

Borderlands 2 on PSVita. Not quite as pretty as the console version but plays pretty well with the touchscreen and rear touch pad. Has some nifty little tricks for the Vita version such as motion sensitive
aiming when zoomed in, and a cross save feature that lets you transfer saves between the console and Vita via the cloud. Though it requires a massive update on the ps3 version to use that feature.

Claymore

3x3 Eyes
Recently finished Walking Dead season 1 (yes, I cried) and waiting for season 2 to be complete before getting into that.

Now playing TWEWY Solo Remix and Doctor Who Legacy.

Just bought Space Engineers; it didn't appeal at all at first (when I saw it on steam) because of the shitty name and characters, but it's so awesome I can't :awesome:. Basically, Minecraft in space without the cubism and with a billion extra added awesome. Freeform spaceship / base building, pretty much.

It could do with a better tutorial and improved tooltips (I don't care what I need to build it, what does it do???), but besides that, no regrets. Also yeah I know it's early access, but it's doing it right for a change.

Taking a break from Fire Emblem. I went back to normal mode and am seeing what this game is like when I match people to their 'canon' relationships, if that's possible. Sumia and Chrom is one pairing of course. I accidentally hooked him up with Maribelle before I knew there were matchups in the last game. I'll try stat reading this time to find out.

I went back to Zelda Oracle of Ages after a few more walkthrough reads. I think I'm rusty with the puzzles or they don't give me enough to go on, but I'm good with the game making me think.

The octagonal gate is working for my fightstick, so I'm finally practicing KOFXIII for srs. I have Trials 1-3 down for Daimon, working my way to 10 which looks like it does an amazing amount of damage.

FF6! Didn't like it so much near the beginning, but I've been enjoying it a lot more after finding Terra in that godawful town of liars. Kinda feel like there are way too many characters in the game, but Celes and Locke are cute, and I like the two brothers (wish there were more scenes with the two of them).

Also I enjoy getting to hate a video game antagonist unequivocally. Just when you think Kefka can't get any worse, he outdoes himself.

Other than FF6, I'm somewhere in the middle of Limbo and also stuck in Papo & Yo. While I initially planned on playing FFX-2, now I'm just watching my brother play it. I can't bring myself to really acknowledge the existence of that game. (Squeenix, what did you do to my lovely FFX?) :(

Breath of Fire III is currently sucking up all of my spare attention. It's so good, but I can't seem to get anything done as of late. I didn't even cook today. Had to FORCE myself to sit down and paint tonight. :|

If my memory serves me correctly, the story was stupid, but the gameplay made X-2 worthwhile. :hohum:

Been replaying FF7 on Steam, is it me or do enemies drop less gil in this version? Could be just a notion to me, I'm used to grinding limit breaks on disc one and I haven't done that this playthrough, so maybe I'm just earning a normal amount o' gil for once

Catching the right chocobos for breeding is a pain in the ass. They take so long to show up sometimes ¬_¬

Also, Team Fortress 2. I've never played a shooter that's as much fun as this :monster:

Was playing MTG 2015 on my ipad in my vacation, it's quite neat. More of an evolution of the previous installments though, no really remarkable new features as far as I could tell. It does start out with the Innistrad campaign / decks though, and I <3 those. Maybe I'll unlock the full game, I don't know how expensive that is yet.

Playing The Bridge. Which can pretty much be described as the artwork of M. C. Escher with physics puzzles. Haven't had this much fun with a physics puzzler since World of Goo. And the graphics actually look like they're hand-drawn.

Played five minutes of shattered memories on Wii and quit

There's no way I'll be able to keep my wiimote hand steady at all times for 80+ hours, and because of that the flashlight will hit the edge of the screen, and therefore spin the guy around and around.

Best bet would be to track down the PS2 or PSP version

There was a promo code for Star Citizen at a conference somewhere, allowing people to play it for a week. I guess I'll take a look at it and watch it melt my computer, if it even runs at all :wacky:.

Been replaying Dissidia. James Arnold Taylor's voice acting is a lot less grating as Tidus in this. On the flip side, Steve Burton...really.....overdoes all the.....pauses....between words as......Cloud....

Keith David is just awesome though

Grinding achievements in the DLC of Borderlands. Why did they have to make 3 of them achievements for getting rare drops!?!?!? At least it's easy to spawn the enemy they drop from...

Now I'm onto Shadow Dragon

The mechanics are there, but the sprites are all muddy and CG snapshots, even though they have a library full of sprites like this

Also I'm seeing all the callbacks that Awakening did. A lot of these people I fought in the Wifi menu. Both games use the same merchant theme.

And this game makes you choose right off the bat to kill off one of your characters in order to progress. They didn't fuck around in the old days. Another example is having to walk in lava to advance a dungeon in FFIII.

I just received Rock Band 3. Kinda old, yeah, but I have a plan; I also got a Midi converter for the PS3. Now all I need is a Midi cable (iirc I ordered that one too but it hasn't arrived yet) and some shuffling of furniture, and I can use Rock Band to practice drumming, :awesome:.

In theory anyway, I'm somehow sure it'll suck or not work or something.
