X-Com: Enemy Unknown.

My second ever playthrough, (normal mode) I got as far as assaulting the alien base with only one casualty since the start. Was so proud of my meaningless achievement, and then the next UFO killed three (My triple medikit support guy was wounded).

This gamer is a masterclass of minimalistic storytelling. You get so invested in entirely randomly generated characters with stock dialogue.

I recently finished the first Lunar game (Sega CD) and now playing Secret of Mana for the first time. Really enjoying it! Though it can be tough at times.. but still good fun

Games. well *Takes deep breath*

GTA V: PS4
Assassin's Creed: Unity
Kingdom Hearts 2.5
Halo Master Chief Collection
Far Cry 4
LittleBigPlanet 3
Dragon Age: Inquisistion

I am playing all these currently spending a bit of time on them each day when I get some free time. Dragon Age however I am reluctant to play at the moment as I feel I will be sucked in to it and will not be fit to work from playing 16 + hours a day :monster:

Started Destiny a few days ago, and am having some mindless fun with it so far. I'm also in the beginnings of a Dragon Age: Origins game, and I've been playing the crap out of Civ V, both on my own and with some friends.

I finished up some trophies in Flower and the new Resogun expansion, currently technically not playing anything. I'm waiting for Journey to release on the PS4.

I should get back to my second Inquisition run on Nightmare, and I need to finish up FFX-2 Last Mission.

Destiny's not cheap enough for me to buy, :monster:. Is it out for PC yet?

@thread, Eve just got an update so I'm fiddling with that. Not a lot of content accessible for me personally though, also thanks to war, again. But, I go on the odd fleet (another one coming up tonight I believe, in a good hour or so), which is nice.

I'm also playing God of War Ascension, which is nice but kinda formulaic, as in, nothing majorly new from GoW 3. Or as epic, but that might just be me not remembering it properly :monster:. Almost at the end.

And I bought Red Dead Redemption and Max Payne 3 from PSN, they were both on sale (less than €10 each) so eh why not. IDK when I'll start with those yet, :monster:

Ascension is shit. Story sucks; Gameplay sucks more.

Its been very long since I last played it, but IIRC BASIC moves from the previous games such as Square Square Triangle were locked behind a combo meter. Like what the fuck? Who the hell thought that was a good idea? I played the entire game with just Square Square Square, L1 + Square, and Triangle Triangle Triangle.

The boss fights were great though. Or rather... fun to watch.

Red Dead and Max Payne 3 are awesome. Screw Ascension. Delete it, burn it, throw it into the sea and start on those instead.

Yeah, I only came to the realization that the basic combos only worked once you got the rage meter up, which on the one side kinda sucks, but on the other makes sense - after all, it is a prequel. Still, it feels toned down because prequel / pre-godhood. Most of the enemies are variations on enemies from GoW 3, too, just with elemental effects. And I haven't bothered to fiddle with switching weapons / elements myself, I just don't see the point, :monster:.

Picked up Alpha Protocol and was reminded why I like stealth based games. It is nice to see an RPG based around stealth for once, and one with a modern-day setting at that. Oh, and the replayability of this is crazy! Dialogue trees galore and instead of the trees being based on what you say, they're based on how you want to come off to the other person. It's also nice to see a game that doesn't penalize you for how you play the game (you can go for a more traditional killing spree or a more Metal Gear Solid type of game), but instead gives you different bonuses based on what you do.

Oh I started playing RDR last week or so and it's pretty neat. The characters and voice acting is pretty good, but it kinda suffers from repetitive grind syndrome, and most of the playable areas I've been to so far has been rather boring, with just two towns worth mentioning (that ranch and Armadildo) and a whole lot of empty and barren countryside with the odd repetitive 'random' event. I'm probably close to attacking that fort thingy, and part of me is hoping that's the end of the game - and yet part of me is hoping that's nowhere near the end, and there's like a billion more guns to unlock and shit (since I only got a new shotgun, repeater, and pistol since I started playing). If that's all DLC shit I'm gonna do a :monster: and leave it be.

Origin is a piece of shit, but EA gives away free games and game time apparently, so I had a go at Titanfall. It's neat, but at the same time it doesn't look like it has that much content, so idk if I'll actually go and buy it. Didn't seem to be that many players online either (like a thousand?), so it's probably way past its prime already. BF 4 is also free to play for a week, might go and fiddle with that next week.
