Dragon Ball FighterZ online ranked matches. It took me a while to find an opponent because nearly everyone was several ranks above me (I was in the starting rank) but thankfully this morning I found someone on my same rank, had matches and both of us level up to the next rank. I'll play more matches tonight.

Final Fantasy X-2.

LE GASP, right? Well, I bought the X/X-2 remaster a while back in case my boyfriend wanted to play it, but he started X and kind of put it down pretty early, so I haven't touched it since, since, you know, I'm not a fan of X. :P Then yesterday I was playing the remake of Secret of Mana and decided I kind of don't like it, so I looked through Playstation Store, only to realise I didn't want to get anything new because I wasn't about to sit through an hour or two of download. And then I saw X-2 and went "hmm".

I'm not hating it :monster: The battle system is pretty interesting, also Yuna is actually tolerable in this one. Not a big fan of the jumping though. Feeeeeeck.

We'll see how far I get.

You might be surprised. Even the biggest critics of X-2 agree the battle system is super fun :monster:

I've started a fresh playthrough of Fallout 4... wherein I'm building a massive settlement at the drive-in movie theater and siding with the Institute.

Playing Chasm and really enjoying it so far. It's very derivative of SotN which just makes me love it, and the procedural generation aspect makes me more compelled to puzzle out little things or remember them, rather than just hunt down something online when it's tough.

Additionally, I've got Dead Cells and Death's Gambit as well for as soon as I wrap up on that one.

Sims 3. More of a fan of the open world than with loading screens ala sims 4. Though the sparkling vampire sims are pretty basic!
I'm not happy. I sent my sim on a date with a girl he's been wooing to make her an undead mate, but she rocked up knocked up to some other sim. Now I'm deliberating ways to kill her. I'm thinking of locking her up in his dungeon and painting pictures of her as she starves - as a warning to any future girlfriends... Sadly, I have to wait until she pops out the baby sim. After that he can drop it off to the social worker.

Resident Evil: Outbreak. Very realistic zombie apocalypse scenario, which means it's immensely frustrating. I''ve never seen a game go 'you don't have a magazine, so you have to reload your gun bullet by bullet' before.

Also finished Sleeping Dogs

Never trust someone with a British accent. Even if it's Hong Kong, and that accent would make perfect sense.

Some high end voice talent. Lucy Liu and Emma Stone

Accidentally murdered some innocent diners at the restaurant. Ah well.

I want to play Valkyria Chronicles 3, but I don't have a PSP or speak Japanese.

Taking a little break from FFXIV; I'm now playing FFXII The Zodiac Age with some friends at the same time and it's such a blast omg. :D I've been nerding out with them on the game and aaaaaah this is the most fun I've had with a FF game in a long time! :reptar: Also playing Mass Effect 2 at the same time, going through the trilogy again and it's great!

I've just finished the enhanced edition of Divinity: Original Sin on my PC. I'd been curious about this series for a while now and decided to give it a go when I saw the first game on sale on Steam. Really enjoyed playing this RPG and I'm definitely going to pick up the sequel.

Started Life is Strange a few days ago. Liking it so far. Not the type of game I usually play although I probably should. Something more narrative/choice based is perfect for just relaxing after work. Took me ages to get everything done in God of War because I'm usually too exhausted to play more demanding/action-heavy games when I come home and so I just make progress on weekends only :closedmonster:

Started playing the Heart of Stone expansion for Witcher 3...aaaaannnd a quest has glitched and I can't finish it. It's only a sidequest, but it'll annoy the ever living shit outta me that it'll sit active in my quest log in perpetuity.

Hitman. I picked up the Definitive Edition on Amazon. I'm not very far into it yet, but thus far I'm just not as impressed as I thought I'd be. Absolution felt like a much more polished game than this one for some reason.

Castlevania: Lord of Shadows. Completely new to the series, enjoyed it well enough.

Wasn't expecting Satan to show up at the end. He ended up being a bit disappointing as a bossfight, though.

Frantics: Party game you play with your mobile as a controller. I want to dislike the game, but most of the mini-games are pretty fun to play.

I should finish DS3 finally but Destiny 2 was free on ps plus the other day so I got that :monster:. All criticism aside from the endgame bittervets, it's an entertaining game and gives a pretty engaging singleplayer storyline wotsit (at first anyway).

While on vacation I went for my casual laptop vacation game Stellaris, started a new game. Turns out both my own faction and pretty much all the other factions are a pretty peaceful lot, so not much happened and I must've spent a hundred years just waiting after all the systems were claimed, :closedmonster:. I waited until year 2400, when according to a blurb I read an endgame crisis should start (with enemies with 1.6 million attack power, while at the time my most powerful army had 16k loloo), but it's more of a range. Anyway I founded a federation with another faction and a third faction that tried to cause a fite joined me as vassals so now I effectively own a third of the galaxy. My federation member then declared war on another one so yay, finally some action. That action was on the other side of the galaxy though and getting there was shit. They changed a fuckton of mechanics in the 2.0 version (so after I last played it); it's mostly for the good but they also added FTL inhibitors meaning I had to get an army up and running to conquer a planet, which was a bit shit. Oh well. They were beaten, part of their empire was split off and that part now joined my federation too so.

If nothing happens I'll change my faction to a more militant one and force my ethics on the universe.

Finally caved a bought a pre-owned version of Far Cry 5 in Gamestop when I was preordering Battlefield V for my husband. I've been wanting to play it so bad since I watched him play through it when it first came out. The story really hooked me.

Aaaand I kinda suck at it. 1st person shootybangs aren't really my forte--so many different controls for different weapons and cycling through them and such--I'm sure I'll get used to it.
